((Y/N) POV)

"...Would you like to know where you are?" Ozpin says while pulling out a strange metal and glass tablet. I nod my head affirmatively, and he presses his finger on the device, causing it to glow brilliantly.

Reflexively I flinch backwards from the strange device. Goodwitch gives me a surprised look, while Ozpin keeps his usual calm demeanor. "What form of sorcery is this?" I question the man.

"Sorcery? have you never seen a scroll before?" The woman sneers at me.

"That is not a scroll, that is a strange tablet of sorts." I reply, garnering and confused looks from the two. "Hath thou not seen a real sorcerers scroll before?" I say pulling my sages scroll out of my bottomless pouch.

The gray haired man speaks, "My, what an interesting item, however that can be examined later. For now, please allow me to continue." He says while tapping the 'scroll' as I put my real one away. "Now do you recognize this map?" He says to me flashing the device in front of my face with an image of a map that is entirely foreign, yet distantly familiar.

"No, I hath not, is this a map of thine kingdom?" I state blankly.

"This is a map of the world, our world, Remnant." He replies, earning a confused look from both Goodwitch and I.

"Obviously it's a map of Remnant, what else would it be of." The woman scoffs.

"Thou must be Jesting. I hath never heard of 'Remnant', nor any kingdom upon this map." I retort. The man then hums for a moment while he seems to be contemplating something.

"And the moon, what does it look like?" The man questions, once again earning a confused look on mine and the woman's faces.

"Why the moon is a great glowing disk in the sky, why hath thou asked this of me?" I answered and questioned.

He cleared his voice to regain his companions attention, and spoke, "And would the moon happen to be shattered?"

"Of course not, what hath the power to shatter such a being as the moon?" I replied slightly confused.

"I see, Glynda would you speak to me in private?" Ozpin asked his associate as they both went to a separate part of the flying beast to discuss whatever it is he wished to.

(SMALL TIME SKIP)

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU DON'T THINK HE'S FROM REMNANT! DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BELIVE THAT?!" I hear Goodwitch scream through a door. "IM NOT GOING TO CALM DOWN! HE'S PLAYING YOU FOR A FOOL!" A few moments of  muffled undistinguishable speaking, from who I assume to be Ozpin, seems to get her to calm down, as I can no longer hear screaming.

"(Y/N) was it? Please excuse the temper of my colleague, however I do have questions to ask of you" Ozpin says as he reenters the room.

"I shall answer to the best of my ability, barring any information I deem necessary to keep secret at my behest." I answer his request

"Very well, let us begin. You said you were a wandering warrior? Would you please elaborate?" He asks me.

"I am the last of an order known as the Abyss Watchers. We art sworn by oath to destroy the abyss and stop its corruption, wherever it lies, whatever the cost. Be it man, woman, child, or an entire kingdom; if they are tainted, then they must be purged, so is our oath." I answer his question, while reminiscing about my days with the rest of the order.

"This 'Abyss', what is it exactly?" The man questions further.

"How doth thou not know of it? No matter, the Abyss is a realm of Dark born from Manus, the Father of the Abyss. It borders the mortal realm, whilst corrupting everything in its path, we Abyss Watchers destroy its abominations and defend the fire of the world from it." I explain
