Star Wars the bad batch one shot (COMPLETED)

Crosshair part 2

This is part 2 of episode 15 but based on episode 16

We were trying to escape this place but the empire then we got trapped and fell i slowly got up and saw no one but unconscious Crosshair who was stuck.

I ran into him and tried to pick up the stuff that was covering him but it was too heavy.

I began to comm "hunter do you copy? Tech? Echo? Omega? Wrecker? Is anyone there"

"Yeah y/n are you okay" I heard hunter say on the comm.

"Not really" I said the room is flooding and Crosshair is stuck."

Then Crosshair woke up and realized he was stuck "get this off of me" he said trying to get out and the river was flooding.I took my gun  out and shot  the sides so Crosshair could get out easier.Then water started to go down and we went between the door. I got up so did crosshair who looked disappointed "what have you done?"

"The empire opened fire on the city we weren't gonna leave you behind" hunter said.

"We don't have time for this" tech spoke "we need to get top side before the entire structure submurges."

I looked to Crosshair "if you want to stay here and die that's your call" I said as we all kept running.

We ran to a room that turned out to be their  old room which I never been to.

"All those missions together and you threw it away" he said to me.

I glared at him "we made our choice and so did you" I said calmly.

"Soilders follow orders" he said.

"Blind allegiance makes you a pawn a real soilder protects their squad"

"Look where that's gotten you now that you're their leader" Crosshair said "they're all going to die here because of your failed leadership"

"No we're not look" omega said as we turned to see tubs underwater."We landed on the underwater tunnel. If we use it to reach the base post we could get back to the marauder"

"Accessing the tube will be... challenging" tech said.

"Better than staying here" echo said.

"We have to try" omega said.

"She's calling the shots now?" Crosshair asked.

"You have a better idea?" Hunter asked.

We continued walking until we saw the part of the tunnel destroyed.

"That tunnel was the only way to the Marauder"

"It would seen that once again we are trapped" AZ said

"All range comms are down" echo said "and our oxygen level will be critical in a few hours"

"This is what happens when you let a kid call the shots" Crosshair complains.

"That kid is the daughter of the woman that saved your life" hunter said to him "unlike the empire who left you for dead"

"You all take thing to personally" he said

"They destroyed the entire city"

"They did what needed to be done. Kamino, Regs, the republic... that time is over. The empire will control the entire galaxy an I am going to be part of it" Crosshair looks at me "y/n you made the wrong choice" he walks away to be a distance from us.

"Don't fool yourself" I said calmly "all you'll ever be to then is a number"

"These medical capsules are our way out of here" echo said as we looked at the capsules.

"If our mass is evenly distributed the buoyancy of these watertight chamber will bring us to the surface" tech explained.

"Medical capsules have not been tested for such capabilities" AZ assured.

"We don't have directional control how do we avoid the debris feild out of here?" Hunter asked.

"The droid" I heard Crosshair say "he can do it"

I looked at the droid "AZI, can you guide us to the surface?" I asked.

"Barring any extraneous complications I should be able to do the task"

"Won't that be dangerous?0 omega asked.

"Your safety and well being is my primary mission objective."

We got in the capsules "omega and wrecker were in one, cross and hunter in another then tech and echo" we got out of there but I was caught in some be rid and AZI tried to get me out.

I noticed the droid was powering down just as my path was clear. I know omegas friends with that droid and she'll be sad to see him go.

"Guys, AZIs down I'm going after him"

"Y/n don't"

I got out of the capsules to swim after him he was heavy it was hard to swim until I felt something pull us.

We got to s the surface and I was pulled on the capsules with hunter and Crosshair.

I turned to cross who was looking the other way. I realized he saved my life.

We headed back to the maurauder by climbing we looked at the city that was destroyed.

"We should leave before the empire scouts show up" tech said

"You coming with us?" Wrecker asked Crosshair.

"None of this changed ms everything" cross said without hesitation.

"You offers us a chance Crosshair this is yours" I said trying to make him change his mind.

"I made my decision"

I sighed "We want different things Crosshair that doesn't mean we have to be enemies" I signaled the guys to go for a sec.

Hunter motions omega to come as I stayed for a sec Crosshair looks at me "what?"

"Thanks for saving me, and the droid" I said.

"Consider us even" he said.

I walked up to him and put my hand on his face as he looks at me in confusion. If this is the last time we see each other I might as well say goodbye.

I leaned In and pressed my lips on mine. I was my one last kiss for him now that we're going in different paths. I could feel him kissing me back wanting this to last forever.

I pulled away "the offer still stands if you change your mind" I wispered before walking away from him.

"Phoenix?" When cross said my name I stoped and turned to face him "I love you"

I smiled "I know" I waved goodbye and turned to get on the ship as we leave Crosshair behind. I hate doing this to him but he made that choice. But one day I'll get him back again.
