Hello my children! Sorry it's been so long! I've had a lovely distraction or two ;P but the chapter is here now and I hope it makes everyone happy. Sadly, the story is drawing to a close. After this, there may be one chapter and an epilogue. I'm gonna miss these characters so much! I love Kate :( though I might do a spin off of Alice and Adrian since everyone seems to love them so much. Okay, well thanks for baring with me!! -Lucy :) xoxoxo
"Kate!!"
Have you ever sat in a room by yourself for so long, you lose your mind and start imagining other people.
"Kate, open the damn window!"
It's come to that point.
All by mysellllllf...
...Excuse me, I don't know any of the other words to that song.
"Kate I swear on my life if you don't open this mother fucking window right now!!" Kellys voice hissed.
Funny, you think I'd be imagining Maggies voice on the other side of that window but Kelly just showed up and started bitching at me to let her in about ten minutes ago. Sad part is, even if Kelly was outside that window, which she's not, I'd wouldn't be able to open it because it's padlocked.
Welcome to Alcatraz bitches.
Don't drop the soap.
"Kate...I have Starbucks?" Kellys voice beckoned from outside as if she were coaxing a puppy into the bath.
I'm gonna be disappointed when I get to that window and there's no Starbucks, but it's worth a shot for some caffeine.
I pulled myself up off the floor where I had been since... oh who knows. I stopped scratching it into the floor when I noticed it was starting make my nails dirty.
I slid open the curtains, expecting to look out into the yard and see an empty night. Instead, Kelly was standing there, smiling proudly with a pair of bolt cutters in her hands and a severed padlock.
"What the hell are you doing here?!" I shrieked, yanking up the window.
"I got a call from a very concerned Alice and a very pissed off Adrian." Kelly grinned. I reached out to touch her, expecting my hand to go through her and it hit good quality boob instead.
Yay!
She's real!
I do believe in fairies! I do! I do!
"So, do you wanna stop groping me and climb out here maybe?" Kelly smirked as I pulled my hand back, amazed.
"Why are you here?" I asked excitedly as she took my hand to help me out the window.
"I was always a sucker for the Cinderella stories you know." she laughed. "I'm gonna take you to your princess charming."
"I mean why did you decide to help me?" I beamed, the closer we got to her Jeep.
"Your pumpkin awaits, you silly hoe." she rolled her eyes, laughing and avoiding my question to open the door for me.
I climbed into the Jeep and got settled while Kelly revved it up and we drove away from my house.
A.K.A the dungeon.
What? I got bored with my free time and had to name it!
"To Kingsford we go." Kelly smiled, as we drove along.
"So you never answered, what made you want to help me?" I pried, trying to read Kellys face as she drove.
"Kate," she sighed after thinking for a while, "I love you. I always have loved you, I always will love you. You know that. But I think we both outgrew our relationship, I think we are so much happier now, than we knew we could be when we were together. I think Maggie is all you want and need because when you are in a room with tons of beautiful girls, including me, she's the only one you can even look at. And as someone who loves you, and will always love you, I just want you to be happy. No matter who it is that makes you happy." she finished her explanation and took a deep breath.
