Chapter two

"I think i might have als."

Luke ran over to comfort the now sobbing ashton. All of the boys knew that ashton had struggled with depression and self harm before, he didn't want the brown eyed boy to slip away again.

"It's ok ashton. I can take you to a doctor and they can run tests." Luke said as he rubbed circles on Ashton's back.

"No it's not ok. I might be paralyzed for my whole life." Ashton said crying even harder.

"Look Ashton me, michael, and Calum are here for you. Even if you do have als we'll be here till the end." Luke said and he noticed Ashton calm down a bit. "And we still dont know if you have it or not."

"You're right I shouldn't get worked up about this just yet." Ashton said sitting up still crying.

"im sorry" ashton apologized to the boys.

"sorry for what?" luke asked confused.

"for everything." ashton replied making luke even more confused than before.

"i still dont understand" luke said.

"im sorry for being depressed for making you guys have to deal with me and my worthless self, and having to stop me from hurting and or killing my self must be really terrible. and i must add that i might have als. im just ssorry for it all." ashton said barley getting out the last words before starting to cry even harder than before.

" ash listen, me, michael, and calum think that youre perfect. we didnt mind taking care if you even if it might have been hard at times we still pulled through. ashton youre lucky that you have friends like us. youre not worthless, your amazing, youre like my older brother. ash me and the boys love you so much, and that wont ever change. " luke said. ashton listened to luke very closely. ashton felt like he wasnt worthless he felt that he was lucky and loved for once.

"really?" ashton said looking up at luke.

"yes and i love you more than anyone else." luke replied making ashton smile.

luke loved seeing ashton smile, and couldn't stand to see him sad.

"I love you too Lukey." Ashton said hugging Luke.

"Anyone still up for getting lunch?" Michael asked.

"I say we get whatever Ashton wants." Luke replied.

"Nandos"Ashton replied, voice still rough from crying.

"Okay, let's go then" Michael replied and started to walk towards the door.

"Can me and ash stay here?" Luke asked still hugging the hazel haired boy.

"Yeah I can go with cal if you want." Michael replied.

With an okay from Calum Michael and cal set off to nandos.

"You wanna watch some Netflix?" Luke asked Ashton who was still cuddled on the couch with luke.

"Yeah, that sounds good." Ashton replied sleepily.

"I'm going to have to get up okay?" Luke assured Ashton.

Ashton nodded his head and luke slowly got up. Luke grabbed the Xbox controller from the tv stand and walked back to the couch.

Luke grabbed a peach colored furry blanket from on the couch, and put it around him and Ashton.

Luke could tell Ashton was really really worried about this whole als thing. But he knew he and ash would get through this.

"What do you wanna watch?" Luke asked having an idea of what ash was going to answer.

"Mean girls." Ashton replied as luke guessed.

Mean girls was ashtons favorite movie ever sense he was little.

Luke turned on the Xbox and opened up Netflix. He searched for mean girls and selected the movie.

Ashton and Luke watched mean girls until Michael and Calum got home from nandos.

"Hey were home." Michael shouted through the trailer, witch woke up Ashton.

"Ash" luke said softly "wake up it's time up eat." luke said.

"Okay" Ashton replied sitting up. He wasn't very happy that Michael had woken him up.

Ashton and Luke walked over to the table where four plates and the nandos boxes.

Ashton sat down next to luke. He wanted to be next to luke as much as he possibly could. Though he didn't know why.

They all ate in scilenec with a few looks up at each other. Luke finished first and was about to go put his dish in the sink when he felt a tug on his shirt.

Luke turned around and saw Ashton giving him puppy eyes. Luke knew that Ashton didn't want luke to leave him for even a few minutes. So luke sat back down and waited for Ashton to finish.

"Thanks a lot for going to get dinner I know I should of but someone wanted me to say with them" luke thanked Michael and Calum.

"No problem." Michael replied getting up to go and put his dish in the sink.

"I'm going to go put my dish in the sink, I'll be back in a few seconds." Luke said to Ashton.

The hazel haired boy nodded his head and watched luke walk over to the sink.

Luke walked back to Ashton and noticed he was worried.

"You wanna sleep with me tonight?" Luke asked Ashton.

"Yeah" Ashton replied and slowly got up.

Luke and Ashton walked over to lukes bunk and got in. It was cramped but luke knew Ashton needed him.

Today was a hard day for Ashton and everyone. They would be at home tomorrow though, then everything would be better. They'd go to the doctor and find out what was wrong with ash.

Luke fell asleep almost at the same time as Ashton did
