TW  Eating disorder

Valencia's POV

"Don't be ridiculous Potter. I am definitely not doing such a thing for you."

I am currently walking to lunch with Potter, telling him repeatedly that I will not help him prank the Slytherins. I was on my way to the transfiguration classroom to wait out lunch but then Potter found me and apparently decided we not only were going to walk to lunch together but also eat lunch together.

"Now Fawley if you think about it, this situation could be very beneficial for you. I could feel inclined to leave you out of the rest of the Marauders pranks if only you would help us out a little. Give and take Fawley, give and take."

"No Potter, just no. I'm not going to help you so you should just stop wasting your breath."

That's when I realized we were headed over to the Gryffindor table and although the rest of the Marauders weren't eating right now, I still wasn't sure I felt completely comfortable sitting with Gryffindor.

"Hey Potter, on second thought, maybe we should go eat somewhere else."

"Um, no. We will eat at Gryffindor's table today, and we can eat with Slytherin next time."

"Next time, really?" I questioned.

"Yep! I was the one who initiated this conversation, therefore, the first time I get to choose where we sit. Besides, did you really think I would just leave you alone now? Yeah right." he quipped

"I guess I ought to have thought of that. You are quite annoyingly stubborn."

As we sat at the red and gold decorated table, I wondered if I could get away with not eating without him noticing. Platters upon platters of delicious food appeared, and Potter began piling thing after thing on his plate until it was quite nearly overflowing. All while my plate stayed completely empty.

"Are you gonna eat?" he inquired.

"I'm actually not feeling that hungry now that I think about it," I said as I looked anywhere but at his eyes.

"Alright, but you could at least eat an apple, we won't have another meal for hours Fawley." he retorted with a slightly confused and questioning look on his face.

"Well I had a big breakfast and I don't want any more food. Not that It's any of your business." I grumbled.

"Fine, fine, fine. I'm sorry for whatever I did to make you get that resentfully defending look on your face. You don't have to eat, just go back to your silly crooked version of smiling Fawley."

I laughed. I outright laughed. At something James Potter had said, and I really don't understand why.

"Crooked version of smiling?" I asked while still laughing.

"You think my smile is sillily crooked?"

"Yes, yes I do. It's basically like a more genuine version of your smirk in my opinion. Like your face wants to do its normal bitch smirk but then halfway through since I'm so funny and charming it turns into a cute little crooked smile!"

"You are so full of yourself Potter. If I'm laughing it's not because of you it's at you," I replied knowing there was humor in both my eyes and voice.

"Godrick! Well, now I just feel attacked!" He laughed out.

"You should," I said while 'crookedly smiling'.

"Well crookedly or not, you're smiling so you must consider us friends! I mean I'm not surprised, who wouldn't want to be friends with all of this?" Potter set while doing an imaginary hair flip and smirking.
