Chapter 14: Realization

Jimin had already assumed that Jungkook would probably avoid him but he didn't expect it to be this bad. Hell the man wouldn't even look in his direction. Sadness crept into his heart at the fact that Jungkook probably didn't feel comfortable with him anymore.

     They were currently getting Jungkook's things since Eun wasn't there and Jimin had called Taehyung to help. The second that Taehyung arrived at Jimin's, he felt the tension between the two and felt it the entire way to Jungkook's soon to be old home. He wasn't stupid. He knew something had happened for Jungkook to be avoiding Jimin and he knew for fact that Jimin was probably the cause of it.

"Alright, what the hell happened? What did you do for Jungkook to avoid you?" Taehyung whispered after he approached Jimin.

"I don't wanna talk about it." Jimin said as he looked away embarrassed with himself.

"Oh no, I'm gonna find out one way or another so you might as well tell me now. Spill." Taehyung looked at him with eyes that said he was waiting for Jimin to give in.

"I did...... no we did something bad." Jimin said as he looked at the ground disappointed in himself.

"Well no shit Sherlock. I'm trying to figure out what it is so I can give you some advice on how to fix it." Taehyung replied looking at him annoyed. Jimin gave back a look that he knew all too well, making his mouth drop.

"You didn't?!" Taehyung said in disbelief.

"We got drunk, then one thing led to another. You get the jist of it." Jimin said as he looked back down at the ground in shame.

"Jimin! Why would you do that?! You're supposed to be helping him! Not having sex with him!" Taehyung lectures making Jimin feel even more shameful.

"That's not even the end of it." Jimin whispered to himself but Taehyung heard anyway.

"What do you mean that's not the end of it?! What else happened Jimin?!" Taehyung looked at Jimin like he was insane.

"Well................" Jimin procrastinated, making Taehyung more frustrated.

"Don't make me ask you again." Taehyung gave his final warning making Jimin spill everything.

"So as you know, we got drunk last night. Well as we were both shit faced, I accidentally tripped over Areum's toy. I fell and he tried to catch me but fell on top of me. We stared for a couple of minutes then he kissed me then we had sex. Unprotected. Then wh-" before Jimin could continue Taehyung cut him off.

"Unprotected sex?! Please tell me you didn't do what I think you did!" Taehyung's hands flew to his hair and started to pull on it in frustration.

"Oh, it's exactly as you think, but if you would have let me finish, you would know that we went another round this morning, unprotected. Then Jungkook had a mental breakdown in the bathtub while he was taking a bath. I had to calm him down, then he fell asleep shortly after." Jimin watched Taehyung's eyes pop out of their sockets at the new information.

"You were sober this morning! Why did you have sex with him again! Yesterday I understand because you were drunk, but you don't do this shit when you're sober! Why?!"

"I don't know! It was like something was telling me that what we were doing was wrong, but something else was telling me to do it and protect him from the world. It keeps telling me to not let go of home because something bad might happen to him. I just don't know! I've never felt this way before!" Jimin explained as frustrated tears left his eyes. Realization hit both him and Taehyung like a truck once he voiced his thoughts.

"Jimin, It sounds like you're falling in love." Taehyung said, looking into his friend's eyes.

"No, I can't be. I barely even know him." Jimin tried to use it as an excuse but Taehyung didn't buy it.

"Now that is a lie my friend. Out of everyone he knows, you know him the best even if you've only encountered him a couple of times. I know you Jimin. You're exactly like this when you fall in love and you're about to fall down the rabbit hole." Taehyung said making eye contact with Jimin.

"Even if I happen to be in love with him, it won't matter because he doesn't like me and probably never will." Jimin exasperated as he threw his hands up into the air.

"That's why you have me to give you advice on how to make Jungkook fall in love with you! You're a great guy that knows how to treat people. You're like the model of what everyone wants to bring home to their parents. Great Job, good in bed, kind personality and fantastic with kids. I'd be surprised if Jungkook hasn't fallen in love with you yet." Taehyung said excitedly.

"Tae, as much as I would love to listen to your love lessons on how to woo someone over, I called you over to help me and Jungkook get his and his kids things. Can we get to it please? He's probably thinking that we're pretty useless since we haven't helped with anything yet." Jimin said as he let out a sigh.

"Fine, but this conversation isn't over." Taehyung replied as he followed Jimin into the house. Little did they know that Jungkook had heard every word they said.
