It felt like hours, yet I knew it was only a few minutes that flew by. I sat in my uncomfortable chair, letting my hands rest in my lap while the sweat was unstoppable.

Finally, the man that asked me a billion questions walked in the door, a smile popped on his face once more. But he didn't come in the room, he just stood by the door holding it.

"Come on, I have someone who would like to meet you." He held the door with his back, holding his hand out, letting me know to go out first and he would follow.

I stood up slowly, pushing the chair under the table. I hesitated standing by the chair, stroking the top, it was smooth and the wood didn't stab my hand in protest. My feet acted before my brain did, walking over to the giant man, smiling and joyful, as I walked out the door.

My feet slapped on the white shinning floor, huge windows let in the sunlight making the floor bright. The air was cool and fresh, my arms covered in bumps as the cold air surrounded me.  Looking to my left, the hallway seemed to go on forever, turning around to see if the length is the same both ways. Which it wasn't, two doors on the right of the hallway placed in a visible way, past the last door is a dead end.

The man accompanying me placed his hand on my lower back, making my skin crawl and jumping in my place by his gesture. He backed away while giving me an apologetic look, closing the metal door behind him and turned left walking down the never ending space. I didn't follow him, I looking around me at first in curiosity, I walked to the window to glanced outside.

The building stood high above the ground, making everything seem petit, green luscious grass spread all around the building. A small, rocky gray trail flowed to nowhere. My cheek pushed up against the cold glass to look closer outside; small moving objects moved on the gray rocky trail, the objects lightly bobbing up and down, people? I looked back at the man walking away from me in the hallway, I ran back to him, leaving the window behind. I was out of breath by the time I was by his side, he took a glance at me out of the corner of his eye, smirking.

"By the way, what's your name?" I said between breathes. He looked down at me, smiling. I never noticed that he had straight, shiny white teeth and small dimples.

"John Ross, Miss Jackson. But you may call my Jr like everyone else if you like." He smirked looking straight ahead of him. We turned down three hallways until he stopped at a door that was pushed into the wall. He pressed a button that emerged from the wall, there were three buttons, which he pressed the bottom one.

There was a weird sound as the doors moved away from each other, revealing a tiny lit up room. Jr walked in first, leaving room to his side, letting me know to join him. I glanced behind me, then slowly made my way in the contraption.

Once I was in the room, the doors closed on its own. Jr pressed a number on the wall, making the room ding once more. The room vibrated, moving under my feet. I backed in the corner of the room, scared senseless. My knees shaking causing the white dress to flow to and fro.

"It's called an elevator, it's faster transportation than taking the stairs." He didn't look at me when he said it. My eyes drifted above the door as I noticed numbers decreasing rapidly. The machine slowed, making my stomach flip. Thankfully the thing stopped, pushing back the urge to throw up.

The doors opened as I rushed out of the small room, John walking close to my side. I looked around the room I was in and the floor was glossy, mixed with different colors. Columns of gray stone stood away from each other in a perfect circle, holding the ceiling high above my head. And in the center of the ceiling, hanging down was a huge glass light. It was breath taking.

A group of men wearing black clothing circled around a beautiful woman in a blue dress that hugged her figure. Her hair was short and light brown, stretched the top of her shoulders. Her blue eyes watching my every move and she was a bit taller than me as she looked down at me. She smiled, yet it looked sinister and evil.
