I sat with the stone wall against my back, I knew it was night time because the air and soil around me has gotten colder. At least the cold helped my burn marks on my body.

Ah yes, I was tortured into the unimaginable. I had whip marks on my back, I was branded on the hip and the arch of my left foot, I had a cloth covering my face and a bucket of cold water poured on top of me. But that wasn't the only thing. Over the fact that I was hanging 30 feet in the air in a steal cage...in a white dress again. Also being chained up against a wooden pole with tight cuffs grasping onto my wrists until I started bleeding.

These people haven't been treating me right. I haven't eaten in a week, and whenever I talk out of line I'm treated like a punching bag.

Leo and Mike have been the ones who have been watching and guarding over Douglas and I. These two men haven't left us alone at all. Some days, mainly Fridays, Leo and Mike would get off of their shift early to get out and drink.

That's when Douglas and I talk about our plans on escaping the dome. And in a few minutes, Leo and Mike should be leaving.

In the corner of my eye, Douglas laid still on the chilly ground with his back facing towards me.

As for me, I've been playing with my finger nails to keep me busy. I'm trying to make as less movement as I can so I wouldn't caught Leo or Mike's attention. If that happens, it's back to the hanging cage for me.

But I'm not scared of heights, so it wouldn't bother me that much. Any who, the only thing that has been and is keeping me from doing anything stupid was the plan so far.

Douglas told me that Matt and Travis was going to steal a helicopter while Ethan opens the hatch. Larann was going to pack supplies and record all of the guards movements, and also the fact that she will learn how to fire a gun. Douglas and I will have to escape soon, somehow, and make our way on the opposite side of the dome to get in the helicopter.

That's the plan so far, but it needs to be more detailed in my perspective.

"Hey, it's five." Leo said, nudging his buddy on the arm lightly.

Mike glanced up at his friend, shrugged, and slowly got up so both men lingered down the dark hallway. Their heavy footsteps decreased to whispering taps until there was nothing.

"Well, it's about time this two left. I swear my nose was about to fall off by their horrible stench." Douglas spat loudly. I chuckled and looked over at him.

I knew what he was doing. He was insulting them to make sure that both Leo and Mike were still hovering around. We ensured this just in case, because one time Mike didn't really leave and he was eavesdropping so insulting them makes Leo and Mike jump out of the shadows like angry carnivores.

"I'm sure that they're gone." I said, glancing sideways at him. I took in his features; his deep and vibrant blue eyes sparked in his dark cell, his clean and shinny brown hair glowed in the candle light, his body boasted his muscles under his white T-shirt.

"Hello? Are you listening?" Douglas asked. I snapped myself out of my fantasies and focused. I gripped the cold bars to try and sharpen my focus; the rough metal calmed my raving excited temper, the cold air drew my breath into a cloud of white, and my stomach twisted with apprehension.

"I'm sorry, what?"

"As I was saying. We are getting out tonight." He reassured me. My eyes widened and I perked up in my cell.

I can't believe this.
