Y/N's heart is broken.

But she knew it was bound to happen, because for her, there's no way that Scarlett Johansson would see her differently.

But it just sucks that there's no chance. But she couldn't let that ruin her though, she's been through so much and she's used to being hurt all the time, well, physically. And this pain hurts even more, heartache is not a joke.

At least Rose is there.

It's been a week actually, and whenever she gets the chance, she would come over and be with Rose. Sometimes, Scarlett would drop her off whenever she got a busy day.

Though, Scarlett actually noticed that Y/N has been avoiding her, for some reason that she doesn't know. And it sucks, actually. Because she really likes Y/N's company, and she wanted to watch the night sky with Y/N again, it relaxes her. But every time she would call, Y/N would say she's busy or something.

She wants to know why Y/N has been avoiding her though, she just doesn't know how and she's been so confused because of Y/N, so she thinks that maybe she's just overthinking things and Y/N might not be avoiding her at all.

But speaking of— yes, Scarlett is confused. Y/N is so different now, well, she's still sweet, but she's grown up and Scarlett just sees... Y/N. And not just her neighbor that she likes hanging out with whenever she was free.

It's overwhelming her though, the emotions, and the confusions.

She's been waiting for Y/N to come home for years, so she could thank her again. To show her gratitude in whatever way, and she feels so silly for thinking that Y/N will be the same girl. Because she's not. She's far from that.

Y/N completely changed. It's like everything about her just changed. Especially her looks, and her aura. She's so confident, sure of herself, and comfortable in her skin. Which is good. Scarlett is happy for Y/N.

There's just this... odd feelings of hers.

And the actress couldn't even find herself to look at Y/N like before. Like those time wherein she would hangout with Y/N or whenever Y/N would visit her for company. It's like... it changed too.

"Do I like her?" Scarlett's eyes widened. "That cannot be! She's... no. I'm straight and I have a boyfriend! And— there's just no way. My god, I am overthinking this." She groaned.

"Mommy? Are you okay?" Rose asked, peeking inside her mommy's bedroom.

Scarlett looked at her daughter and smiles. She stood up, "I'm fine, baby. Let's go down, Colin will be here any minute." She said and picked up her daughter.

Rose pouted. "Colin? But I don't like him. And I want to be with Y/N today." She said, not with an attitude, but she sounded upset.

Scarlett sighed. "Why don't you like Colin?"

"Because he's scary." Rose said, like she always does. "I just don't like him around, mommy. I just want Y/N, can we call her instead? She makes me feel safe."

Scarlett smiles softly, "That's great baby, she makes me feel safe too." She said, because it's true. She thinks it started when she gave birth and Y/N was there for her throughout the process.

"Then we should just call her instead! Please, mommy?" Rose pouted.

But then the doorbell rang.

Scarlett looked at her daughter apologetically, "I'm so sorry, baby. He's here. Maybe we can play with him? Let's play with your toys or just whatever you want."
