Hilichurl and me

Part 4: Liyue

Liyue, the city of contracts. The place was bustling with people going here and there with vendors left and right, "woahh look at all this food, this could last me...A WHOLE LIFETIME!" Slime said excitedly. "Focus, we need to look for a suspicious figure specifically a fatui agent" traveler said grabbing slime's head to face forward, "this place is pretty big, should we split up?" The mitachurl asked looking around, "sure but bring slime with you...I dont trust him" traveler said as slime slumps over and pouted. Traveler rolls their eyes and signals for them to go, "paimon's getting a little hungry..." paimon said peering out from traveler's shoulder.

"Not you too...fine we can eat if you find that person we're looking for" traveler said and paimon excitedly flies around looking left and right. At this moment they were near the docs and paimon starts pointing at a direction where and fatui agent was pacing back and forth cursing under their breath. Traveler decided to approach the fatui agent slowly, they start walking in the fatui's direction. As they passed the traveler whispered, "I know what you are" and start walking slower. With their fingers the traveler gestures for the agent to follow them, hesitantly it complied.

"Let's see here...what type of monster are you" traveler asks cornering the creature, "it was those cowardly bastard wasn't it? They never learn and I'm always there to clean up their mess" the agent sighs. The agent looks around as if to check if no one is around, it reaches into its pocket and pulls out a rock or perhaps a mask. It pulls off the fatui mask and reveals the face of a man with piercing yellow eyes, its stare makes traveler shiver. It then puts on the rock-like mask and turns into a geovishap, it then takes it off quickly and returns to it's human state. "So what do you need from me? Im guessing it those two, theyre dumb and dumbers...the mages I mean" the geovishap sighs, the traveler nodded.

"I want you to tell me who the leader of the abyss order is, for personal reasons this is very important to me" traveler said going straight to the point. "Look I dont't know what those two told you but I don't know who the leader is, I don't have a high rank in the order, I don't know what goes on and I don't really care" the geovishap said matter of factly. Traveler facepalms in disappointment, "I don't like what they're doing either but in order for me to live well off and not get killed I have to follow orders, all I know is that those two bastards you met before seems to know someone, somewhat of a right hand man" it said leaning on the wall with arms crossed .

"Well I don't know why you need to meet the leader but I might know a guy who has connections to the big guys in the order" the geovishap continues, "well? Tell me, man who knew monsters has corrupt systems too" traveler says. "In dragonspine, high up at the highest point there's a frostarm lawachurl, somehow this guy managed to control his sanity and didn't go fully beserk, but upon meeting him you need to say a code or he'll attack you...you never know when the abyss is watching" at this point traveler is invested in this story and couldnt wait to set out right away, "you need to say the name Durin, the dragon that fell in war with Dvalin" he says looking into traveler's eyes with his piercing gaze once more. "Thank you" the traveler nods and leaves to find slime and mitachurl.

They looked everywhere to no avail, traveler decides to buy paimon grilled tiger fish along the way, they decide to ask people around to where they have went. "Have you seen a tall man with long hair with a short looking guy about this tall" traveler asks a vendor woman, "I think I saw them walk around here somewhere with two girls talking about pearl gallery, it's that ship near there" the lady pointed at a ship a bit far from the dock. Traveler was agravated, "why the hell did they go off with some girls" they said while running to where a cliff was and glided off to the ship, and of course the two people they were looking for was there in sight. The traveler lands on the ship and looks at the mitachurl and the slime, "AHEM aren't we supposed to be doing something? But you ran off with some girls?? The audacity..." The traveler was really holding back from beating the hell out of them. "I don't know why we're here either, these ladies just grabbed us and invited us on here" slime whispers in traveler's ear.

"Wow your muscles are so huge!" One of the girls said squeezing mitachurl's arm, "uhm please don't touch me" the mitachurl coughed. Traveler looks at the girls, something seemed very off about them. "You're so cutee!! Why won't you sit down with me" the other girl said pinching slime's cheek, "uhm ahem please excuse us ladies but we have urgent matters to attend to" traveler had a bad feeling about them and took slime and mitachurl's arms to the man who would take them back to liyue harbor. As they walked into liyue once again the traveler spoke up, "did you guys see it? Their piercing yellow eyes" mitachurl and slime were clueless, "we're not alone, they might be onto us! We have to go" traveler said tugging on their sleeves.

Just then in the distance paimon saw two men pointing at them and whispering, soon enough they start approaching them. "Uhh Paimon thinks it's time to go" on cue the men start to run at them, the traveler yanks mitachurl and slime to liyue's exit, running as fast as they could they kept running and up to a hill. They seem to lost the men, "WHAT huff WAS huff THAT?!?!" Slime said mid breathing. "Geovishaps. The way their eyes were, I'm positive they were the same...I met up with the fatui agent they were also a geovishap that's how I knew" traveler said sliding onto the ground from exhaustion.

"So what did it tell you?" Mitachurl asks sitting down beside them putting traveler's hair to the side, "he said there was a frostarm lawachurl that might lead us to the answer" traveler said, "a lawachurl????" Slime was suprised, "he didn't lose his mind fully apperantly" traveler explains. "That's...interesting" mitachurl said in deep thought, "so shall we head back to mondstadt?" Traveler asked while getting up.

Suddenly the sounds of clanking and machines whirring were heard, "uh oh..."

I'll be back soon with a new chapter, I'll do it fast before I forget my whole plot
