Drac and Ericka had woken up due to the brighting moon. They found themselves eating in the hotel café, which was open 24/7. Ericka ate as fast as she could as if her great-grandfather's kidnappers were there, threatening to kill him right there if she doesn't hurry with the food.

"Calm" Drac extended his hand to Ericka's hand, but she dragged it back. "Sorry. It's not you, I'm worried, that's all" Ericka turned to Drac looking as if she was almost to cry again. Dracula hugged her and stood. "As I promised, let's go ask whether the airport saw something or not"

They took a ride toward the airport, Drac asked for all the planes' report, his plans went directly to the floor when he found that the woman in charge of that, had been assaulted by muggers the last day. Or that's what the cops that were leaving said.

The poor woman had been gagged with scotch and tethered with thick rope. Locked up in a closet. She'd woken up maybe 1 hour later of being confined there. Her face was completely sticky due to her tears sheding for almost all day. She had no voice due to her suppressed screams through the tape.

Only a monster can do that, the are even more dangerous than I thought, Ericka thought, now more worried.

"What do we do now?" Mavis japped Jhonny's elbow to shut him up.

"We'll ask the cops who were those outlawers" Drac strode to the cops that were ready to leave -Hence they've been there all day-

Ericka, Mavis, and Jhonny watched from far the reactions of the cops when they notice Dracula was a vampire. They gasped, and one of them passed out. Drac talked with the counsiouss ones and came back to his family grasping something in his hand. Drac stood in front of Mavis, while Jhonny and Ericka were reading the little yellow paper -Alike as the first note Mavis's found.

"We know you and your family are trying to find us. Well, this is your lucky day, we'll meet behind the hotel you sojourn. Midnight. 3 KNOCKS. Don't forget the money captain."

"What do they mean with three knocks?" Jhonny grabbed the note.

Ericka's mind blanked due to the fret. Now not just because of her great-grandfather, instead that she had just brought her family, and now they are in danger as well.

"Honeybat, do you feel alright?, Do you need rest?, because we can do that" Drac said, spurring her to stop worrying.

...

"No more shenanigans!" Abraham Van Helsing yelled at the fishman who was ebbing down his sight.

"Why in heaven would you do that? Dooming the plan! Since when you were doing that!? I should make yourself a grilled fish!" Extending his head to him, waiting for a reason Van Helsing shouldn't kill him in that very instant.

"I have a plan sir, expose ourselves" He looked into his enraged eyes.

"Tell me, tell me now! Bryan, Adams, or whatever your name is!" Abraham composed himself and listened to the fish.

"If we tell them what we were trying to do, what was our real plan they will hate us. But! If we say that Ericka was involved too, they'll hate her as well, and that will imply that Dracula wouldn't save her. Hence her "betrayal" and he would be feeling resented" He finished crossing his arms as saying "By the way my name is Connor"

"Connor, what an idea! Where were you the whole last trip we had?" Van Helsing gave a turn around and moved his arm in the air "I don't know how we'll do that, but we'll make it true, believe me"

...

The full moon received the midnight. Dracula, Ericka, Jhonny and Mavis, were waiting behind the hotel 1 hour ago.
Impacience is stronger than any well-thought idea.

A van approached. Pulling up nearby, or that's what they deducted for the boisterousness. Abraham Van Helsing showed, rolling his engines while four fishmen were behind him. As butlers, taking care or him.

Everyone's faces were marked with a full gasp, their mouths snapped open.

"I know what you're thinking, all of you, but we needed to do this Ericka, stop with this charade" Van Helsing grimaced to make Ericka strode to him.

Ericka didn't get all of those words. What he meant by "stop with this charade" she was just feeling relieved he was safe, regardless. Even though he faked his abduction, he made her feel she lost him. She walked straight to him and ducked to him, to round her arms around the body parts were left.

"Come here Ericka, I need to apologize with you, but just the two of us, I'll apologize with the others later!" Raising his voice at the end, to make the others hear.

At the van's door -The Van, which was rounding the corner, so it wasn't at the sight of the gang-  Ericka finally said, "Why you had to fake all of this? I was scared you know, and, what charade were you spitting 'bout!?" Suddenly she raised her voice to him, being understandingly mad.

Out of nowhere a hand with a soaked tissue knocked her nose and mouth, she struggled, but the blurry sight came over and fainted as listening some voices, apparently arguing.

"I told you to just dabble the tissue, not damp it!"

"Yeah and you blasting her! What of "a gentle touch" you don't understand?!"

"Pick her to the van now!"

...
About half and hour had passed, Dracula's mind was totally dumbfounded with the sentence, stop this charade, What was he meaning? She knew? No. That was impossible, you saw her worry, you saw her trembling about thinking his possible death for that cutthroats.

He squinted to his pocket, pulled out his phone and admired the photograph he had as a wallpaper. All his family together, they shot that picture after coming back from the cruise. All so merry. Look at us now.

He looked for what he pulled out his phone. To look for the time. 33 minutes had passed and he couldn't figure everything Abraham could be apologizing about. He's a bigmouthed man, but he can't talk too much when he's saying sorry, his pride is bigger.

Dracula observed Mavis and Jhonny, who had the most preoccupied faces. Drac was humdrum, without facial expressions, all of them were inside of him, shouting and cursing everywhere.

He straightened his frock and started walking toward the corner. But after two steps, a rolling sound made him freeze. She and Abraham are coming, you inpatient dork, you can't wait compliant for once in your life, he scolded himself but remained his demeanor when he only saw Van Helsing's wheels rolling, his pipes plumping smoke, his engines sounding as if there were stones being crumbled in a small room echoing everywhere.

"Where's Ericka?" Dracula stood analyzing every single movement of him. Drac tilted his head and roamed his eyes to see if she was, for some reason, coming behind him. But no.

Ericka was nowhere to be found.

And Abraham was holding a paper with a crooked smile.
