"I'm going to beat you." Shoto stared down Izuku and silence filled the room.
"The students from the other course are aiming for the top with everything they've got!"
"I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have, too." Izuku slowly lowered his arms down to his sides and looked back at Shoto with a serious look on his face. —— "The U.A. sports festival first-year stage qualifier! The first game is an obstacle course race!" Present Mic began with his announcement.
"It's a cruel chicken race where anything goes as long as you stay on course!"
"Oi." Aizawa spoke and dodged Present Mic's waving arms from hitting him directly in the head.
"We'll bring you the exciting scenes with camera robots set around the course!" The yelling hero continued despite Aizawa's efforts in trying to talking to him in the midst of his coworker's announcement.
"You don't need me, do you?"
"Now then-"
"Can the golden eggs aiming to be future heroes get through the mass of Robo Infernos?!"
"If they went through all this trouble, I wish they would've prepared something better." Shoto used the right side of his quirk, placing his foot and hand on the ground.
"Since my stupid old man is watching." He swiftly maneuvered his hand to create ice so it could freeze the 'villains' all in one fell swoop. After the robots were frozen solid, Shoto let out a breath of cold air and resumed running.
"He stopped them!" One of the students pointed out.
"Between their legs! We can get through!"
"I wouldn't if I were you. I froze them when they were unbalanced." The white and red haired male informed as the robots slowly fell and broke apart in the process.
"They'll fall over." A gargantuan cloud of both dirt and dust erupted the moment the robots hit the ground with Shoto still running like he was in an action movie.
Izuku, Katsuki and many other students covered their eyes the moment that cloud reached to them.
"The first one through the first barrier is Shoto Todoroki from Class 1-A!" Present Mic announced.
