Eddie

I heard him say her name when he saw the little girl but I didn't know what do. So once in my car I drove us back home but the whole time Buck was quiet no one word came out. Once we pulled into the driveway he didn't move he just sat there lost in time. "Buck lets go inside we can cuddle and talk." Still no movement. I leaned in and kiss his jaw line which he finally caught his attention. He was blushing and I loved it "come on let's head inside and we can talk or do whatever you want." I got out the car and went to open his door he blushed even more and got out the car.

 I grabbed his hand and lead him inside I threw myself back onto the bed dragging him with me. "well its only 8:45 and we have until 3:00 to go get Christopher. Do you wanna talk?" He nodded at me and laid down with his head on my shoulder. "what are we?" and boom just like that I'm not sure he's my best friend and I know I wanna be with him but I can't help but want to ask him properly not laid down on the bed together. "Well I know I want you to be mine but I want to wait a while for I could ask you properly." This is one of my favorite things about being with buck I can tell him anything and it doesn't feel like a burden. It feels right. "Buck can you tell me more about her? you know Brianna?" He looks up with a smile and kisses my lips. "Eddie you know what's crazy I think I'm going crazy. I swear when I saw that little girl walking into school I felt so connected to her but I don't get it. Maybe is cause of her blonde hair? I don't know. do you think I'm crazy?"

"Hey you're not crazy its hard and also you said its getting close to the anniversary so its going to  be hard but I'm here for you. Your not crazy." Bucks phone rings

Buck: Hello?... Im at Eddie's why? ... Maddie just tell me whatever you have to tell me... Okay I'll see you here.

Eddie:"What was that?""

 Buck:"Its just Maddie she said she found something and needs to give it to me but she didn't tell me any info over the phone."

What did Maddie have to show me? Now she's freaking me out I hope its something good and not bad. While she gets here I just lay down with Eddie holding him. I hadn't had time to really take in everything but now I am. I told Eddie my biggest secret and now I'm in bed with the man I'm in love with. He said he didn't want to ask me to be official yet said he wants to make romantic and I can't wait for the day to come. I hear a knock on the door and instantly know its Maddie. 

"Do you want me to be there with you for whatever it is she gonna tell you?" I heard Eddie voice as I'm walking to the door. "Yes please I don't know if it's good or bad." He nodded and got up. I grabbed his hand and went to open the door. I dropped his hand once I opened the door but he grabbed it again making me blush and Maddie give us that sisterly look. we greeted Maddie and she instantly starts to question us. "We haven't made it official but I know Buck is who I want to be with." I stood there looking at him because he sounded so sure and it made my stomach do flips and my face go red.

Maddie

I knew Eddie was saying the truth and I am so happy for buck because he needs happiness. "Well buck I have something I want to give you but its private sorry Eddie." I wasn't sure if Buck told him about Brianna he was always a shamed of what happen. Always found a way to blame himself. :It's okay I understand i'll be in the room of you need me." He kissed buck in the forehead and headed to the room. I smiled at that he really loves him I always knew it but didn't think either would act on it. "so what is so important that it cant wait and you have to make me get up at 9:30 am ugh I should be taking a nap with Eddie before going to get Christopher." how is my brother a firefighter he hates mornings. "I found something I knew I had to give you."

I hand him the picture of his daughter and him just days before the fire smiling cheek to cheek. Both their bright ocean blue eyes stuck out clear as day. Anyone could tell the resemblance. Tears come to his eyes and instantly falls to the ground crying. Eddie runs out of the room and hugs buck before I even get the chance. "Thank you Maddie." He shows Eddie and the picture and eddies holds him tighter letting me know he knows about her. I hug buck and Eddie but I think they should be left alone.
