Hey guys, this chapter is by far my most ambitious one. It was the hardest to write, but the funnest. I hope you guys love reading it as much as I loved writing it. The Amazons weren't explored too much in Rick's cannon, so I wanted to give them some lore and explore them a bit. I also really wanted to take the chance to explore Hylla as a character. I tried very hard to match the timeline of this book to the cannon timeline as best as I could, but it might not be perfect, it is a fanfic after all. Warning: Lots of fluff and its super long. Keep writing all.

Reyna's POV
The portal to Turkey let out near the Southern coast of the Black Sea, as Artemis had said. Reyna was in the lead, using a compass and map to locate Hylla's coordinates. Apparently, Mia's magic compass only works for her, oh well.
Mortals didn't seem to notice them. Twenty Two immortal women and a Goddess dressed in camo with bows and arrows on their backs, a giant greyhound and two automatons, a pack of timber wolves, and a flock of hunting falcons must be weird enough for the mist to guard them.
It was a beautiful day, a cool breeze blew from the sea. The wolves bounded across the sand, playing in the surf. Zoe spread out her arms and closed her eyes with a small smile on her face, enjoying life again. Most of the girls took off their shoes to walk on the warm sand.
As they walked along the shoreline, Reyna noticed that they were finally coming up on the coordinates. She looked up from her map, and gasped. A great cloud of mist covered the area in front of her, she couldn't see a thing behind it. The hunters stopped in their tracks.
"Wow." Sandy gaped. "The Amazons sure know how to hide."
"They've had to do it for thousands of years." Artemis smiled. "Welcome to Themyscira."
"It looks like a giant cloud, not a city." Thalia huffed. "How do we know it's not booby trapped to keep outsiders away or something? That mist in hunger games was totally poisoned-"
Reyna giggled. "Thalia, I am so telling Annabeth how much you read."
"Please, no."
"Girls!" Artemis scolded. "It's not poisoned. Wouldn't Hylla have told you that, Reyna?"
"Of course, but, umm, I should tell you girls something." Reyna sighed. "Hylla told me that if I came here, only I could enter the borders. She asked me to leave you girls out here while I meet with her."
Artemis nodded her head, as if she understood, but the hunters looked disappointed.
"What? We can't go in?"
"Why not?"
"It's a city of awesome women warriors! We've got to see it."
"Awwwww."
Thalia looked as though she was going to be sick. "But- but what if something happens to you?" Thalia grabbed her hand, her blue eyes full of worry.
Reyna smiled and squeezed her hand, she spoke softly, only to Thalia. "I'll be with my sister. Nothing will happen to me."
"But what if- what if that thing happens?"
"Like I said, my sister is there, and I can take care of myself."
"I know, but you're also a stubborn idiot."
"Thalia. I'm going."
"Are you two done bantering?" Artemis crossed her arms. "Reyna, we'll be alright. Go and see your sister. Tell her that I'm here with the girls, and maybe she'll let us come in a bit later."
