Sofi's Acceptance

Zane Went downstair's after taking a shower , he heard the laughter in the kitchen " What's so funny ? " , Nera looked at him " Sofi tried pronuncing Dante and Hunt's name wrong " , Zane looked at Sofi and carried her to sit on his lap , Sofi got scared and she ran to Nera " Mommy ! " , Sofi hugged Nera's leg tightly . Zane felt a little sad knowing his daughter doesn't know him " Zane give her time , she will be okay with you " , Zane just nodded and reached for the McDonald's bag and total silence filled the room . After breakfast Nera took Sofi upstairs to give her a bath and change her while in the bathtub she explaained to Sofi who Zane was " La mia vita , do you know what that means ? " , Sofi looked at Nera and shook her head , Nera chuckled  " That means my life , did you know grandma from daddy side says that to him " , Sofi shook her head again " Mommy who is Sofi's daddy ? " Nera rub Sofi's head " remember at breakfast the man that carried you and wanted you to sit on his lap ? " , Sofi nodded " Well la mia vita , that's your daddy " , Sofi's eyes went big and she smiled " Daddy came back from business trip ? " , Nera nodded and smiled at her .

" It's best if they stayed with you Zane so we can protect them better " , Zane was having a discussion with Dante and Hunter about Nera and Sofi's living situations , now that Zane know about Sofi he of course wants then to be with him to protect them and to take care of them " I don't know if she would agree to that , you know Nera " , Dante looked at Zane " You mean how stubborn she is ? " , Zane just nodded . Nera drying Sofi up to get her dress so she can spend sometime with her " Mommy , where are we going today ? " , " Today is your day la mia vita , so you can choose where ever you want to go " , Sofi's eyes light up " Really ? I get to choose ? " , Nera nodded and smile at Sofi's reaction " Mommy , can daddy come with us and uncle Dant and uncle Hunt too ? " , Nera was suprise by Sofi's request , usually if it was mother daughter day she doesn't want anyone to come not even the grandparents , " Sure la mia vita " .

Zane went up stairs to check on Nera and Sofi , he heard all the conversations that they have and it made him so happy that Sofi is willing to give him a chance to repay for lost times " Shall we go and see them ? " , " Yes " , Zane heard Nera was coming out of the room and he went into Nera's room and close the door slowly so that they didn't know he was listening to the last bit of the conversation they had . Zane didn't have a good look of Nera's room so he look around , he opened the closet and look at her clothes , there's a particular short emerald green dress that brought him back straight to his memory then a little box drop when he tried to pick up the dress , he knew what box was that , he stared at it and he can't believe she still kept it for all those years .

" Hey guys , Sofi has something to ask " , Nera and Sofi came to the living room and saw that Dante and Hunter were down there watching tv , " Where's that guy " Sofi putting her hand up trying to ask about Zane , Nera looked around " Where's Zane ? " , Dante looked at Hunter and look back at Nera " He went upstairs to check on you just now " , " Wait so his upstairs ? " , Dante and Hunter nodded Sofi nodded together , she follow what ever they did . Nera was going to go upstairs to find Zane when he came down the stairs " Where were you ? " , " I had to go to the toilet " , Nera nodded " Come , Sofi has something she wants to ask " , Zane quickly grab Nera from behind and hugged her tightly , Nera froze " What are you doing ? " , Zane burried his face in Nera's hair " I miss this , I miss you " , Nera felt so warm and safe in his arms ,she always has but that accident that happened change her , she wants things to be as it were before , where she don't have to worry about her life and her child .

Nera turned around still in Zane's arms " Zane I miss this too , but I need time " , Nera place her hands on Zane's cheek , " I understand Amore mio " , he kissed Nera on the lips , Nera pulled away " Let's go see Sofi " , Nera hold Zane's hand and they went to the living room . Sofi stand next to to Nera " Will you all join me and mommy go out ? " , Zane looked at Sofi and smile " Of course principesssa " , Sofi had a huge smile on her and she walked up to Zane " I am sorry about just now daddy " , Nera was shocked to hear what Sofi just said , Sofi knew at a young age that Kyle wasn't her dad and she never liked Kyle , Zane teared up " Can I hug you la mia principessa ? " , Sofi nodded and Zane hugged her , Nera smiled looking at Sofi and Zane , suddenly they heard a sniffled sound and they looked at their side to see Hunter so emotional " That's so beautiful " , Dante rubbed his back while shaking his head " Oh yeah ,your tough alright " .
