Yesterday was a disaster. Thankfully Pierce's parents didn't really care. They just went to call the construction crew. Turns out his parents were both loaded so I didn't have to pay anything for repairs. Still it bothered me. Pierce told me not to worry about. The rest of the week was pretty chill. We kept training at Pierce's house although we stayed further back from the house. My abilities became more controlled. Everything was fine until today.

"Have you guys seen Daimos or Alixe?" I asked as I walked up to Pierce, Eros, and Callum who where sitting on the lawn in front of the school.

"No" Pierce said.

"Pierce dumped Alixe and I guess Daimos is trying to comfort her." Callum said. "We tried helping but we couldn't find them. Maybe it's better if Daimos talks to her. They understand each other better."

I turned to Pierce. "Soooooooooo uhhhh can I ask why you dumped her?"

"Yeah I just started thinking about stuff and I realized it wasn't working out." Pierce replied.

"Oh ok. I'm gonna go look for 'em." I got up and started walking away without waiting for them to say anything. I wasn't mad I just wanted to try something. I snuck towards the back of the school. The cracked pathways and overgrown ivy indicated I was there. I closed my eyes and began to breathe deeply, trying to focus on reaching out for the colours. the air around me started to flow a pale blue-white. I felt wind around me moving. I willed the wind to form a vortex around me. Instantly I felt the air swirl around me rapidly. My feet lifted a centimeter of the ground. Faster, I focused. The air began swirling faster and faster. I slowly floated upwards and until I reached the top of the school. I Stopped when I got there. I heard soft voices and turned to see Alixe and Daimos sitting across the roof. They where turned away and Alixe was sobbing.

I heard quick snatches of their conversation although I couldn't get close without getting noticed. "Don't... You can... him... Here... help you."

I watched as Daimos reached out grab Alixe closely. Alixe's body glew a deep indigo which slowly transferred itself to Daimos before vanishing. "Thank you." Alixe said.

"It's nothing." Daimos said in a soft mellow voice. "You should go find the others. The tournament is in 5 days and we need a plan."

"Yeah" Alixe replied before she turned around and caught sight of me. The look on her face snapped out of my shock. "Arkyer what are you doing here?"

"I-I was trying out a thing I picked up." I stammered.

"What thing?" Daimos muttered coldly, his voice almost inaudible.

"Well check this out." I used the wind to hover a little of the ground. Alixe's shocked expression morphed into a wide grin.

"That's amazing, wait till the others find out." She ran off the building, land softly on the ground before sprinting towards the others.

I looked back at Daimos. "Your an Odynokinetic. Pain manipulation."

Daimos watched me warily. "Yeah... Look Arkyer don't tell the others what you saw ok? I don't want anyone else knowing about my abilities."

"I won't" I replied. "I ain't like that. How does Alixe know about it?"

"She was the first person I met when I came here. Before I used to live on a military base back in Pakistan. Thats where I discovered I had powers."

"There aren't any military bases in Pakistan. The last one was blown to pi-" I caught myself. "Oh. I'm so-"

"Its fine. I don't want to talk about it. Just go away I need to be alone." He turned away.
