The Breakup

~Finns Pov~
"Can Finn Hudson please report to Principal Figgins office" the loudspeaker boomed out.

Great, in trouble for doing something I didn't do.. AGAIN. But that's what you get if your best friends name ends with Puckerman and starts with either Noah or Puck. It hasn't even been a whole hour of school yet and I'm called to Principal Figgins. It better be something serious then.

As I enter the office I see my mom, Burt and Principal Figgins there chatting away. Kurt is there too, not talking but standing there silent as ever with red puffy eyes. He looks like he has seen a ghost.

"Ahh, Finn Hudson take a seat, take a seat" Principal Figgens says gesturing me to a nearby empty chair.

"So what is going on?" I say confused by the looks I've been getting: Mom and Burt look happy as ever and Kurt...Kurt looks terribly upset.

"We- um who's gonna say it?" Carol says looking at Burt and Kurt, they decided that Mom and Burt will say it.

"Ok... 3..2..1.. FINN WE ARE MOVING TO FLORIDA IN THREE WEEKS!" They exclaim smiling.

"W-what?" I say, I cannot believe it. Me being the quarterback of the football team. Male lead in Glee Club. Mega popular and the hottest girl in the school is my girlfriend! I can't lose all that in a few minutes.. Can I?

"YOU CANT DO THIS TO ME!" I shout standing up and going out the door. But before I do, I do my signature kick by kicking a lamp over.

"He has to have time, he will be happy once we move there" Carol says reassuring everyone.

I storm through the hallway until I caught up with Puck and tried to act like nothing happened. Like I won't be moving in 3 weeks time. Like my heart and soul which was in the football team or glee club won't be shattered in a few days.

But I have to do 2 things before I leave:

1) Try and score a touchdown and dedicate it to Rachel,
2) Let her go. Let her have a boyfriend that will stick around not like me.

~Rachel's Pov~
I really do hope Finn is okay, he sounded so distraught. Maybe he's just nervous about the football match or a test.

Strange how one second he is okay, but the next he is not. As I walk on to class I see a familiar blonde high ponytail and a Cheerios uniform. I'm surprised I noticed it in the sea of people which are rushing hurriedly to next period. It's really weird how one corridor is busier than the other!

"So that's where you have been" I say annoyed.

"No, Rachel, come with me let's walk to class and I'll tell you" she says relaxed as ever. "Okay so I was late because I had to-" she stopped because we heard a familiar voice in the distance..

"Look man, how am I supposed to say to Rachel that I'm moving to Florida. She will be so upset!"

We heard a muffled voice.

"RELAX? MAN I CANT ITS NOT MY CHOICE TO LIVE IN FLIPPING FLORIDA IS IT?" IM JUST NOT GONNA BOTHER TELLING HER, SHE WILL JUST COME TO SCHOOL ONE DAY AND REALISE THAT IM NOT THERE, THEN YOU CAN TELL HER WHERE I AM! OKAY?!

We hear some heavy footsteps coming along, so we hide around the corner. The person passes by, as he passes, I realise the person is........Finn!

"Well that was unexpected was it?" Quinn says looking sympathetically at me.

"Yes, Yes it was, now let's get to class before I cry." I drag Quinn along to History.

"GIRLS WHY ARE YOU LATE? THE BELL WENT OFF TEN MINUTES AGO!" The teacher shouted at us.

I start saying "Sorry Miss, We were-"
Then Quinn interrupts me " at the nurse, I was sick. You know there's this bug going around my house and I think I have it.

"Fabray, Berry. NEXT TIME DONT BE LATE!" Teacher says going back to the lesson.

All day I was thinking about Finn. Why does he not wanna tell me?
Lunch slowly rolled around, as me and Quinn walked out of lesson, Santana and Britt came up to us.

"Hey Quinn where were you at glee?" Britt says.

"Probably making out with a guy" Santana says smirking.

"Shut up Santana!" Quinn says lightly punching Santana on the arm. "Anyways, I went over to help Sam with his brothers and sisters. I offered to to take them to school so that's why I was late.

"Oh!" Us three chorus together.

We go in to the Cafeteria and get our food, These days there are tots which are alright. But if Sue catches us eating them, we are instantly off the team. We all pick up our salads and water and sit down with Glee Club.

~Finns Pov~
The bell rings to signal Lunch. Yes!! Finally! As I walk Puck appears. he's always next to me. Funny that!

"Hi, hello sorry for being a jerk earlier." I say quietly.

"It's fine!" Puck says.

We enter the cafeteria and grab our food. As we walk over to the glee club table, I notice my beautiful girlfriend talking to everyone laughing. God I will miss her laugh!

I sit down at the table and look over at Rachel. Her smile has faded into a sad look and Quinn is giving me a Death Stare.
Santana and Brittany look confused as ever.

"Um hi?" I say awkwardly.

"DONT YOU HI US YOU JERK!" Quinn shouts starting a rampage.
Santana stops her just before she carries on. I'm so confused!

"What happened?" Brittany and Santana say in an usion.

"Nothing, Britt, Santana, it's not worth it. Like mine and Finns relationship" she looks over at me and walks out of the cafeteria.
No! She must of heard what I said to Puck! I got up and raced after her hoping it wouldn't be too late.

"There goes Hudson, breaking Berry's heart once again" Santana says smirking.

I ignored her and ran to the Auditorium. That is the place Rachel always goes to when she is upset. I remember I would come here whenever I hurt Rachel. She is very sensitive and I always forget.

"What do you want Finn? The damage is already done! You didn't tell me that you were going to Florida, you weren't even planning to! I heard you and knowing this makes my heart break because even if you did tell me, I would still be upset and-" I kiss her before she ends the sentence.

She breaks away from the kiss and looks down. "Goodbye Finn, We're done!" She starts to walk away.

"RACHEL PLEASE NO!" Then I hear the door slam.

3 weeks until I move to Florida. I hope I can move now! Life without Rachel sucks!
