Uh, hi.

It's been awhile (like nearly 1 and a half year while) lol sorry for the dead silence. I lost motivation for this but then I suddenly remembered I had a wattpadd account, I reread my story and got motivated again.

So here's the "Long Awaited" Chapter 9

Giyuu clocked out of work and rode his motorcycle to his apartment complex.

While in traffic, his eye caught something displayed on the store window.

A purple butterfly hairclip. For some reason, Giyuu stared at it for too long, not noticing that the light already turned green. He was only made aware when the car behind him started honking loudly. He waved a "sorry" and continued his ride back home.

Reaching his apartment, Giyuu collapsed on his bed and dozed off without even changing his clothes. It was Friday anyway, he'd have the weekend off this week.

.

Saturday

Giyuu's POV

I woke up groggy and with my neck aching for whatever reason, I guess I slept wrong.

I received a text.

the contact name was "volleyball dumbass" plastered the screen of the phone.

Susumaru : Yo giyuu you g for some volleyball

Giyuu : nah feelin ass rn

Susumaru : you always sayin that get your ass out here and stop being a fatass

Giyuu : Fuck off

I put my phone down as I rub my eyes and open my blinds, the sunlight flooding in.

I get up and make some instant ramen. While eating, my phone lights up again, the contact reads "Love ❤️❤️❤️"

My eyes light up a little bit, picking up my phone and opening the text I'm greeted with the message

Mukago: Hi Giyuuuu you have any work today?? if not you wanna go out?

Giyuu: nah im free, lets go to the recent cafe that opened, it was called the kamado cafe or something like that right??

Mukago: Perfect! ill meet you there later 11am, that fine?

Giyuu: Perfectly fine

Mukago: okie, i love you!

Giyuu: love you too

A boring morning just got turned into something worthwhile. Although, I still couldn't get myself to smile.

'When was the last time I smiled?' I thought to myself. 'I'm not depressed, I think I just can't get myself to smile anymore.'

'I have a girlfriend, a good paying job that has fair hours and a good boss, a caring family, and a good group of friends.' I spoke internally. 'Yet for some reason I can't smile.'

Something's missing.

No.

Someone's missing.

'I can't recall, though. I'll just think about that later.' I said as I prepared for our date.

.

I walked into the Kamado cafe, it was designed like a modern cafe, with katana and oni mask symbols across the walls. There were various different elements on the swords, water, fire, wind, rock, and... love? Snakes?

Most eye catchingly, Butterflies?

Mukago, obviously excited, "Oh my god! I love the design of this place. It feels so cozy and it just radiates comfort." she exclaimed

"Yeah, it's cool" I said in a low monotone voice.

"That's your reaction to everything" Mukago said in an annoyed tone.

We sat down on a table for two and a waiter quickly came up to serve us.
