Dawn's P.O.V

As I came back to the Cortex I realized that no one was here except me. So I decided to go to Jitters to grab some coffee and I guess hang around by myself.

30 min later

As I made my way back to Star Labs I heart a bunch of bickering and laughing. I decided to see what it was and check from the corner of the wall so I didn't get caught. As I peeked from the corner I saw Dad and Nora joking around and arguing over who could throw lighting the fastest or who could phase better. While looking at them I realized that Dad seemed more happy with Nora more than me. Tears brimmed my eyes as I realized maybe coming back to this time wasn't right. Maybe I just wasn't meant to exist. I sped towards the speed lab to take a couple of laps and to get all my problems out of my mind. My mind started to drift and all I could think about was how my own dad like spending more time with my step-sister than he does with me.

I come to a stop and decide to take a quick break to cool down a little bit. As I rested I saw dad and Nora walk in. " oh hi Dawn " said dad with a bright smile. Nora just nodded with a smile indicating she was saying hi to me without needing to speak. "
We were wondering if we could borrow the the speed lab " said dad. " for what ? " i asked. " we just wanted to train a little just in case anything comes up " said Nora. " Oh ok " i said with a sad and soft tone. " I guess Ill catch you guys later " i said hoping dad would accept my offer. " actually Dawn, Nora asked if we could spend the rest of the day together " said Dad. As he said that all I could do was just stay frozen. He still didn't think to ask me if I wanted to train with then or if I wanted to spend the rest of the day with them. All I could do was reply with a soft " alright " and walked away. As I made my way back to the Cortex I ran into Mom and she asked if I was doing alright and all I could say was "sure".

Caitlin's P.O.V

Walking to the speed lab I passed by Dawn and by the look on her face she didn't seem to happy. Looking at her face I already know what it's about, and im not happy about it at all.

A/N - helloooo everyone im sooo sorry I haven't updated, being a student is not as easy as I thought it would be... i will try to update as much as possible in 2022 but before the year ends ill try my super best to update 2 more times for all of you....
