ch10

Lisa was lying on Jennie's back, both women sweaty and breathing heavily in their post coital bliss.

"Remind me to lock the door next time."  The mattress muffling Jennie's words.

"Well, you're dad is going to kill me so I doubt their will be a next time."  Lisa kissed Jennie's damp shoulder blades, feeling rather than hearing the girl beneath her laughing.

The two got up after a few moments to catch their breath, cleaned themselves off, and walked downstairs; Jennie all but dragging a cautious Lisa.  Walking by the kitchen they stopped when Chaerin called out to them.  She motioned for them to take a seat at the table.  Chaerin laughed at the look of disgust on Jennie's face, remembering what had occurred earlier.  So they settled for the bar stools at the island. 

"So, this is an eventful holiday."  Chaerin chuckled.

"Mom..."  Jennie warned.  She could feel the tension and discomfort coming off Lisa in waves.

"Oh, lighten up.  Everyone has sex.  Lisa, relax.  I mean, no parent wants to see their child having sex but if it had to happen I'm glad it was you and not some idiot we couldn't stand.  It's okay, really.  You two are adults.  Just next time, for goodness sakes, lock the damn door."  Chaerin's laugh and smile put Jennie and Lisa at ease. 

"I do have a question though."  Chaerin tentatively stated.

Lisa and Jennie knew exactly what she was about to ask.  Jennie looked to Lisa to gauge her reaction.  Lisa seemed pretty at ease with answering the question they both knew was about to be asked. 

"Mom, it's none of-"  Jennie was stopped by Lisa's hand on her arm.

"It's okay."  Lisa whispered to Jennie before turning to address Chaerin, "Yes, I'm intersex."  Lisa proudly and confidently stated.

"Um...that's nice dear but that wasn't my question."  Chaerin was a doctor, she didn't need to ask to know what Lisa was.  She had clearly seen. 

Lisa's face turned bright red and Jennie couldn't help but kiss her cute little red cheeks.  Chaerin could see how much they loved each other. 

"But since you brought it up.  Does that mean I can be expecting grandkids soon."

"Oh my god mom! Seriously, stop."  Jennie grabbed Lisa's hand to drag her out side.

"I'm not getting any younger!  Oh! Tell your dad everything else is done.  Just waiting on him."  Chaerin called out to the retreating women.  She liked Lisa and she was pretty sure she would be planning a wedding soon.

"Hey dad, mom said hurry up.  Everything is done, just waiting on you."  Jennie hurriedly said as they walked past Jae headed towards the pool where their friends were.

"Ok.  Hey, can I borrow Lisa for a moment."  Lisa instantly went stiff as a board, her eyes boring into Jennie's with a silent plea to not leave her alone with Jennie's dad.

"Dad, we-"

"It'll be just for a few minutes and then I'll send her back to you."  Jae said, his smile was wide and comforting. 

Lisa gave one last panicked look before turning and walking towards Jae.  Lisa's heart was beating out of her chest, her palms were sweaty, knees weak arms are heavy. Not the time Slim Shady!  Lisa accepted the beer Jae offered her and sat in the chair next to his after he motioned for her to have a seat.  Lisa took a large pull from her beer, hoping to still her nerves.

"You love her don't you?"  Jae asked after a few moments, his eyes never leaving his daughter.

"Yes, sir.  Very much."  Lisa answered honestly.

"Then as a father, that's all I need to know.  Take care of her.  Treat her like a queen and never hurt her.  I like you, Lisa.  I can see that she loves you just as much you do her.  I'm glad she found you."  Jae's eyes met Lisa's and she could tell that he meant every word.  Maybe he's not going to kill me. "But if you hurt her, know that I will rain down hell on you."  Jae laughed at the wide eyed expression that adorned Lisa's face.  "Don't worry, I know I won't have to." 

"You won't, I promise.  I'd never do anything to hurt her."  Lisa's eyes moved to the pool area and met Jennie's.

"Dad!  Can I have my girlfriend back now?"  Jennie yelled from the pool. 

Jae laughed and shook his head yes.  Lisa moved to get up but was stopped by Jae's hand on her arm, "Also, let's just forget about those two instances today, okay?"

"Gladly."  Lisa grinned as she walked towards the pool.

"What did he say?"  Jennie asked as Lisa swam towards her.

"Oh you know, the whole 'hurt my daughter, I'll end your life' talk."  Lisa said between the kisses she was placing on Jennie's lips. 

Lisa and Jennie jumped apart at the sound of Somi's distressed voice, "Oh my god!"

The gang looked to Somi who was sitting on the edge of the pool holding her phone to her chest, a perplexed look on her face.

"You looked up scat play didn't you?"  Jisoo's matter-of-fact tone only added to the hilarity.  Somi had a pained look on her face as she nodded, "I told you not to look!"

"Jisoo, it's like the goddamned red self destruct button.  If you tell me not to push it, I'm going to want to push it!"

The rest of the day went great.  Jennie's parents pretended they didn't see anything and Jennie and Lisa pretended they didn't either. Jisoo, however, brought up seeing Jennie and Lisa almost the whole night, just not in front of Jae and Chaerin.  Aside from getting caught, meeting Jennie's parents went pretty well.  Jae and Chaerin basically adopted Lisa and Somi.  Jennie was pretty sure that Jae and Chaerin liked Lisa more than they liked her.  Jennie didn't think she could be any happier.

Jennie and Lisa laid in bed, Jennie being little spoon, and laughed about their misadventures of the day.  They still couldn't believe that they had been walked in on not once but twice and that her parents didn't kill Lisa.  Their laughter died down and soon they both were teetering on the edge of sleep.  Both of their eyes flew open as the sound of moaning and a bed squeaking in protest came through the wall.

"I thought Somi and Dahyun stayed at Seulgi's place tonight."

"They did.  Chaeng and Jisoo are the only ones here."  Jennie's curiosity was evident in her voice.

"Oh my god."

"Nooooo! I have class in the morning!"  Lisa laughed when Jennie took the pillow from under her and placed it over her head.

"Well, I guess this is payback."  Lisa grumbled, following Jennie under the pillow.
