Dr.Eggman was prepping dinner for his sons when he heard his name being called with a shout by his two-tailed son. "sigh... In the kitchen Miles!" He heard stomping, turns around about to scold Tails for stomping when he got cut off "Go apologize to sonic and shadow now father!" Eggman looked at his son then raised a brow "Oh? And why should I? hm?" Tails growled, "Because they broke up due to what happened!!" "It's not my fault Tails!" Tails' eyes widen in disbelief then snarled "YES IT IS YOU STARTED THE FIGHT WHICH RESULTED IN SHADOW LEAVING SONIC!!"

Eggman turned off the stove and marched to sonic's room Tails flying behind him as quick as he can. As they enter sonic's room they see the room turned upside down and said hedgehog in a corner trembling and crying quietly in the dark back faced towards them.

For tails it was heartbreaking to see his brother suffering so much. To Eggman he saw half of his world crumble seeing his eldest son in despair. Eggman spoke softly "Sonic..? Son talk to me.." what answered his question on how hard it broke sonic was clear on the response he received..."Go away Eggman I don't want to see you!!"

Eggman has seen his son angry before but sonic was pissed off. Eggman sighs "Sonic I'm sorry for what I did I'm just protective of you and tails" he places hand gently on said fox's head. Sonic knew but still couldn't accept his fathers apology for his actions towards shadow. "Don't apologize to me...go apologize to shadow..." Eggman would do anything to make his children happy and forgive him. "Tails...when sonic is calmed give him dinner" tails turns to his father questionably but nods at him as he watches him walk out the lab.
