Chapter 11

(Shadow's p.o.v)

I kept thinking about what the fa- doctor had told me about Faker. It's been a week since the doctor was in the shared house. Maybe...maybe he's right I should see Faker.

I like- no...I love Sonic he's an idiot but he's my idiot though I won't admit it to anyone other than Sonic I'm looking at you comments.

If what Eggman said to me days ago is true I should go check on Faker. Hopefully, he's not too far gone.. hold on faker I'm going to save you now.

(No one's p.o.v.)
Shadow is getting his hover shoes on his feet then sighs before speeding off with a feeling he's being watched. His feeling he had about being watched was correct but he didn't know it was his G.U.N partner/roommate Rouge the Bat. She sighed in relief as she watched her partner skating to the Eggman's 'evil' lair.

Being the sneaky bat she is, Rouge follows her partner in the shadows wanting to be nosey and see what happens between the blue blur and her partner. She's happy her partner at least took in Eggmans words the other day and finally had the courage to finally decided enough is enough and put differences aside and be with Sonic even if it means dealing with Eggman.

(Tails p.o.v.)

I came out of Sonic's room to at least convince him to eat but it was for nothing he's been devastated after losing shadow. I sigh and then walk towards the kitchen where our dad was washing dishes from our meals. "How did it go kiddo? Still nothing?" I shake my head as cover Sonic's food with tin foil and then put it in the fridge. "It's been weeks and Sonic still loves him with all his heart. I don't know why they can't just talk it out!" I burst out and slam the fridge door.

"Tails look at me." I look at Dad and he sighs kneeling in front of me. "Love is a very delicate and hurtful thing you just want someone very special to be by your side and you wanna spend until your dying breath with them. So you see-" Dad was cut off by a doorbell and 3 knocks. Tilting my head in confusion I followed Dad as we walk to the front doors of his lair. We were surprised to see who was there on the other side of the door.

(Shadows p.o.v.)

I was skating toward the Doctor's lair wanting to see him again. I noticed a familiar presence of course Rogue wants to see what happens but right now my focus is Sonic. I reached the lair and sighed gathering myself and releasing the nervous "jitters" as sonic has told me what that was. I smile at the memory then I reached up rang the door bell then knocked 3 times. After seconds of waiting the door opens revealing the Doctor and Tails they both looked shocked but the Doctor hid it quickly and raised an eyebrow at me while Tails was still surprised.

I looked up at the Doctor while he glares and stares at me. I sighed rolling my eyes then said "Good Afternoon Doctor, Tails is Sonic home? Can I see him?" Before Eggman can answer Tails answered "He's home but not doing well after you left and I'm not sure he would want to be in your presence...come on in" I nod at Tails walking inside not noticing the look Eggman gave Tails but I heard the Doctor sigh then asked me "Shadow" I look towards him "Would you like to stay for dinner? And help Sonic eat and bathe as well? I would appreciate it."

What?

I noticed that I spaced out then blinked back to reality and nodded. "I'll do my best although he might not appreciate my visit." "Actually" I look at tails "all he's ever done is just sulk and think about you he'll be excited you're here to see him." I nodded and walked away from the doctor and tails as I walked towards sonic's room sighing on the way.

Once in front of the room I knocked twice hearing a muffled "go away tails" from inside. I open the door quietly and to say I was shocked was an understatement. I didn't think it was this heartbreaking to see faker in this condition. As I studied his appearance I didn't notice he was ranting about tails being stubborn and something along the lines of missing me. Realizing there was no one talking to him in return he turned around and his eyes widened in shock. Our eyes were locked onto each other as we see each other for the first time in months.

(Sonic's p.o.v.)

I can't believe that he is here standing in front of me after abandoning me months ago. This has to be a dream. Why is he here even after leaving me all by myself? Now he decides to show up after going M.I.A from my life. I'm angry...but I still love him. I missed him. So much.

I can't help but fall deep into those ruby orbs of his it feels like they're pulling me in deeper. I missed him, his smell, his voice...and his affection.

My hands twitch as I think of reaching out to him before wrapping arms around myself in comfort and squeezing my eyes shut. 

Then I feel something warm...

Hello Everyone! I have kind of? Returned? Maybe perhaps. Due to my job and life in general I can't promise that I will posting frequently.

This chapter was finished in January why wasn't it published? Good question I don't have an answer but this story will continue don't worry! Love you all hope you guys had a wonderful new years and valentines! <3
