The thunderous one appears with the wind
.
'I know I'll have let you go eventually,'
'but, let me be selfish while I can,'
Chan sipped his coffee as he stared at the sky. Minho beside him drinking his coffee let out an exhausted sigh looking through his piles of papers. He and Minho had gotten close after a bit of talking. And so Chan didn't hesitate when he saw Minho looking thoughtful.
"Minho," Chan called and Minho looked at him from his papers.
"You look stressed, what's the matter?"
Minho stared at him, a smile slightly lifting on his lips.
"We need to sell all our old house, it's millions of dollars of worth, and we need that money. But I don't know how I'll explain that to Felix. He's very sensitive when it comes to sentiments." Chan smiled, nodding in understanding.
"Well, I can understand where you're coming from... but why can't you just sell your current house and stay at your old house?" Chan asked, taking a big sip of his coffee.
"We could, but it's not... safe there,"
"threats?" Chan asked and Minho nodded, putting his mug down.
"Not empty ones either, they beat Jeongin up, if it weren't for his powers awakening he would've been dead," Minho said plainly as he put the papers aside.
"And as soon as Felix entered Arius he got stabbed,"
"What's next? Me?" Minho asked, chuckling bitterly.
Chan nodded in understanding.
"It's the person with a 'y' right? I get threats with an 's' but their practically empty threat that holds no meaning, except for one... one of them... scared me to death. But if it weren't for that letter I would've never been able to heal Felix so,"
"Do you think that's a coincidence?" Minho asked.
Chan shook his head drinking his coffee.
"This 'y' and this 's' are surely working together," Chan said looking at Minho.
"Both or their targets are together, isn't that dangerous?" Minho smirked before he started laughing at Chan's serious face.
"Hyung," Minho said, trying to breathe while stopping his laughter. Chan could only roll his eyes.
"Whatever it is, we should stay together. Separating will make us weaker, easier to kill and expose. I think that's what they're trying to do, bring us together only to rip us apart," Chan said and Minho nodded, getting serious.
"We should stay alert then?" Minho asked and Chan shook his head.
"We'll only be scaring Felix and Jeongin more, we should make it look as if it's nothing and play it off," Chan said before he put down his empty mug.
"I guess we should act accordingly, we'll leave for Seungmin's at noon," Minho said and Chan nodded.
"Whoever this person is..." Minho whispered.
"What is it that they truly want?" Chan said with Minho in sync.
"What are you two talking about?" A sleepy voice sounded behind them, Chan quickly stood up seeing Felix. He smiled.
"It's nothing lix, what do you want to eat for breakfast?" Chan asked as if he weren't a total mess in the kitchen.
"Anything's fine," Felix said before sitting beside Minho.
Minho looked at Chan with a knowing look before he smiled and lifted his mug to his lips, a smile lifting his lips.
"Hyung... are you smiling?" Felix asked, confused.
"You look like a psychopath, stop," Felix said back into the corner, enjoying annoying his hyung.
"We'll visit Seungmin in the afternoon. We might stay there instead of Chan hyung's house," Minho blurted out randomly.
"what?" Felix asked sadly about leaving Chan.
"Chan can consider joining us, it's up to him though,"
"but--" Felix got interrupted by Chan's booming voice.
"OI Felix! Your breakfast is on the table!" Chan yelled about to see how Jeonin was doing before Felix stopped him.
"Chan," He said Chan looked at him surprised but smiled nonetheless.
But Felix couldn't bring himself to ask Chan to stay, and not disappear from him.
"Nevermind," Felix whispered, going to eat his breakfast.
Chan frowned in confusion but didn't question Felix as he climbed the stairs to Jeongin's room. He knocks before twisting the doorknob and enters the door wide open.
Jeongin looked serious staring out of the window.
"Jeongin right?" Chan asked Jeongin, turned around and faced Chan immediately.
He smiled softly.
"Yeah," Jeongin said, walking towards Chan.
"Breakfast is ready, when are you going to--"
Before Chan could finish Jeongin's eyes turned blue and a gust of wind wrapped around the boy in a shape of a snake. Chan gasped taking cautious steps back.
"Jeongin," Chan said in a warning tone.
Jeongin only smirked, and Chan knew what was wrong. He wasn't in control right now, his powers were probably recently awakened and by force.
"Yang Jeongin the one who comes with the wind," A deep voice rumbled from Jeongin, one Chan didn't think was possible for the shy boy to have.
Chan knew he couldn't stop Jeongin from his powers taking over his whole body, the next was his soul, he had to prove that he was no threat to Jeongin to earn respect and safety from Jeongin's true identity. Which was dangerous, considering he could hurt Jeongin.
"Yang Jeongin, I am no threat to you," Chan tried to convince his soul but he wasn't having any of it as he blew a gust of wind toward Chan. Chan dodged
"Fucking great," Chan mumbled before he awakened his on powers, the ones he had turned off for quite a while now.
"Jeongin, go easy on me," Chan whispered but Jeongin didn't care. Chan closed his eyes, trying to focus while dodging Jeongin's hits.
Chan's eyes turned blue glowing because it had been such a long time since he had woken destruction, it had been shut for hundreds of years. But now the beast was awake and easy to provoke. Chan gained control of his beast and tried to reason with Jeongins spirit.
"Jeongin--"
*gets blown to the floor because of the wind*
But it obviously wasn't working.
'Chan, let me take control, you're too nice.'
Chan's soul spoke.
'nope,' Chan responded, a blue ball filling in his hands spreading to his arm to his whole entire body adding fuel to the fire that had started in Chan's soul.
Jeongin's blue eyes suddenly started fading to a lighter one and soon he was falling from the sky. Chan stopped his flames and rushed to the boy catching him in his arms. Exhaling in relief.
Just then Felix walked in.
