feeling like I'm left alone in this world,

.

"But I don't deserve you," Y whispered, their voice cracking as they stared at the three beautiful boys in front of them. Shaking their head in denial. No one could take their pain away, Y knew that. No one would be friends with a monster, no one would be friends with the villain, no one would want to be friends with Y. But here they were with brownies, gorgeous smiles, and endless encouragement to go on.

"Of course you do," Hyunjin smiled as Felix and Minho nodded.

Jisung felt like he was going insane.

He felt so sad,

and he had no idea what to do about it.

Rage was circling him but he kept pushing rage away. Nothing was better with anger anyway. Nothing was gonna get better if he was going to sit around and cry. He knew that.

But he couldn't help it, he couldn't help but replay every memory, every sentence, every glance, every comfort, every hug, every laugh, every tear, every something, he couldn't help but keep Lee Minho in his head like a playlist on repeat. But this playlist was full of sorrow and regret.

He just wanted to know if he was okay...

but he was scared to know that too.

Chan entered Jisung's room forcing a half-smile onto his face. Chan weakly waved at Jisung who just nodded.

"you're sad." Chan deadpanned.

"I know," Jisung mumbled.

"We should find them,"

"I know,"

Silence settled between them, fitting in the gap easily.

"I'm just such a mess without him," Jisung whispered, digging his head into his knees that were hugged to his chest. Chan nodded his forced smile no longer on his face as he stared at the blank wall.

"They probably miss us though,"

"I hope they do," Jisung muttered, feeling the pain of missing someone.

"They probably feel sad then," Chan said softly.

Jisung looked at him right away.

Minho, being sad...

The thought made his chest ache and squirm in discomfort. Because he couldn't do anything about it, he couldn't wipe the tears away or hold him in his arms as he would never let go.

He imagined it, tears rolling down Minho's cheeks as he called out for Jisung. Only for Jisung to not be there for him. Jisung could feel it. The pain rose in his chest as he wouldn't be able to reach for Minho, his Minho. His Minho crying in pain calling for his name and not being able to comfort him, the thought killed Jisung.

"No," He whispered, barely looking into Chan's eyes.

"No?" Chan repeated slowly, coming out more as a question.

"No," Jisung said firmly.

"Because we're going to get him right?"

Chan's lips lift slightly as he lightly punches Jisung's shoulder.

"Of course we are you, idiot," Chan said, tears cascading down his cheeks.

"You're crying," Jisung pointed out.

"You're crying too," Chan replied and Jisung scoffed tears building up in his eyes.

Seungmin stared at them from the doorway like a sad puppy being left out. Changbin pushed him in with himself as Seungmin tried to make him let go except Chanbin didn't even budge.

"We're getting them right?" Jeongin asked, shifting on the corner of the bed in anxiousness.

"Of course we are," Seungmin smiled softly at him, patting his head.

Y was walking in the hallways with Felix who was rambling about something they weren't so sure about. They weren't quite listening, only staring at Felix's beauty.

"You're so pretty," Y interrupted Felix blushed before awkwardly scratching his neck and grinning.

"Oh, um, thank you,"

"Sorry my bad, that was so random," Y said, feeling they had made Felix uncomfortable but Felix waved it off like it was nothing.

Y was actually beginning to feel happy, just a tiny bit, just 25%, but 25 was a big difference for Y. They felt...kind of normal.

"And then there's Chan," Felix paused, taking a deep breath.

"Chan," He murmured, tears filling in his eyes as he thought about the comforting man who helped him sleep every night.

"You miss him," Y concluded and Felix forced a small smile before looking at his feet again. Y sighed their shoulders sagging.

"This was nice," Y said.

"Meeting you was the best thing I could ever ask the world, I'd do it a thousand times again. Thank you, thank you for making me feel like even for a little bit I was going to be okay." Y looked at their somewhat grown nails painted with yellow nail polish that Felix put on for them. They stared at them for a while, the perfect but not so perfect clipped nails Hyunjin had attempted to cut.

"Why does this sound like a goodbye?" Felix asked, panicking.

Y looked into Felix's worried eyes for a second.

The panic visible on his face, Y stared for a few seconds longer.

Smiled,

and looked back down in loss.

"Because it is,"
