Xiao Zhan stared at the door with a hint of rebellion in his eyes. He had spend his time studying every corner of the room he was held in, that bared no windows except the door locked before him and that nail lying across away from him, he eyed it.

Silently he worked with the knot of rope, he shifted on his sit, the rope loosening a bit freely on his body. He waited, he didn't know how much time passed since those men left after feeding him but he waited patiently because there was no way he would let this shit to go on for so long....Nah, Not Today!

His eyes and ears worked in different angles, trying to dictate any sound from the outside as he realized the room wasn't sound proof because a few minutes ago, he heard feet and voices but now, he was met with silence, pure silence to the point a pin drop could be heard, as if he was the only living soul.

And suddenly, his ears jerked at the sudden sound of heavy foot steps coming his way and the door unlocked and a man walked in, holding a video recorder, Xiao Zhan smirked...perfect.

"Hello!" Xiao Zhan greeted with cheerfulness, catching the other off guard with the sudden act. "What are you doing, are we going to shoot a scene?"

Instead of answering, The man pulled out a little knife from his pants, Xiao Zhan stared unpuzzled. "And....You bought out a knife, perfect" he stated sarcastically.

"Now I want you to behave, do whatever I say and no one would get hurt" he ordered.

Zhan shrugged "Yes sir, it's not like I will be able to get out from here alive" Xiao Zhan winked. "Before we do whatever you want us to do, what time is it? It's feels weird not being able to tell the time, it feels frustrating if you know what I mean"

"it's pass mid night" The man answered, setting up the camera in front of the other while his back was faced to him, missing the satisfied smirk that flashed across his face.

"Whoa, now I get why I feel so sleepy. I bet the whole house must be asleep, it's a bit tiring, don't you think" Xiao Zhan continued, working continuously on the knots.

"Yeah" came the reply. "We're set!" The man announced as he suddenly turned, advancing towards the other with the knife, he went behind Xiao Zhan and cut off the ropes binding his upper body, Xiao Zhan groaned out as his arms became free after being tied for so long.

"Thanks bubby, you're a life saver" he rubbed his wrist but his legs were still tied. "Can you please, untie the ones on my legs too, my whole body feels numb from being tied to the same position for so long. Can you please release my legs as well. You can tie me back after we're done with whatever it is you want to do, I might die from numbness and that would be a bad thing" he gave the man his best puppy dogs eyes but he frowned when the man shook his head.

"I wasn't instructed to cut the ropes on your legs"

Xiao Zhan released hot breathes from his mouth at the other's words."Don't tell me you're scared I would do something to you"

The man scoffed. "With those hands, I don't think you can hurt anything. You can't do shit to me, weak looking thing"

Xiao Zhan scoffed, for the fact that this man was having this conversation with him proved he was halfbrain and Xiao Zhan wouldn't let such opportunity pass him by.

"The more reason I think you should free my legs. Am weak and have been sitting in this position for a very long time, do you seriously think I'll be able to do anything, I need my strength to survive through breathing but I get it that you're scare this weak looking person would actually do something to a tough looking guy like you. Pss, I totally understand!"
