The Bane's Pain/ Ace's Nightmare

Chapter 3

(Maggie)

The alarm went off 3 times and each time she pressed it. Finally as the time for school rose she did as well. Taking a quick shower she braided her hair and the purple/blue finger prints kepted drawing her attention.

Her memories were foggy but she knew for sure that Ace did it. Every time she thought about him pain swelled in her chest.

Maybe I feel for him to fast, I mean he is the jokers son after all. She thought. Another voice spoke in her head.

Yes he is the jokers son but you love him.
True.
Then whats the problem?
I don't know how to answer that ask another question.
What attracted you to him?
Why the heck do you keep asking about him?
I'm your conscious. If you think about him I think about him thats how this whole thing works.
It must suck.
No kidding! The conscious laughed.
Hey Maggie?

Try avoiding him today okay. If you die I die and there's alot of things I want us to do still. So be careful.

Maggie put a turtle neck tank top on and a pair of leather pants. Today she would go face a man who was strong as a bull. She would face Pain. Hopefully she didn't come home with a black eye.

(Pain)

Buzzing rang in Pain's ears as he buzzed the hair that had grown over night on his head as well as his face. He put on a red shirt and a black vest. His spiked collar, blue jeans, gloves,and finally black biker boots.

His father was on the computer looking for ways to make the vemon stronger. Sometimes it scared him that his father was so addicted to the vemon. But he would keep that to himself.

He starddled his motorcycle and jumped the petal three times before it started. Rain started to fall and he kicked the bike up to high gear.

Pain arrived at the school five minutes early a new record for him. Parking his bike her heard the clicking of heels getting closer to him. Pain looked up to see the new girl Maggie. She had her hands on her hips, her hair braided, and a stern look on her beautifully pale face. She looked like a porcelain doll with the bright red lipstick, deep black eye shadow, and chocolate brown eyes.

"What you want?" He growled the tone masked by a Russian accent.

She stomped her foot and said, "I wanted to hang out with you."

Pain raised an eyebrow along with himself. He must have looked really confused because Maggie started to laugh. Pain didn't know why but the laugh made him smile. Maggie returned his smile with a shy one of her own.

"So can we hang out?" Her eyes pleaded with him. After thinking about the problems that could come with this person he nodded. Pain knew that Ace would be pissed but he never liked Ace in the first place. Sucks to be him, Pain thought

(Ace)

His fist clenched together as he saw Maggie laughing and smile with, "Pain." He growled why did everyone find Maggie so appealing.

God, He was turning into his father every single freaking moment. And he needed it to stop.

(Maggie)

She laughed harder as Pain told her a joke. He had messed up completely but it was cute. She looked across the cafeteria and saw Lily, Raven, Oliver, Rider, and Serena holding hands with Peter. Kat skipped along behind all of them. She searched across the room and saw the preson she had be dreading and hoping to see. Ace.

"Wow! Peter and Serena, Oliver and I, Rider where's Morgan?" Lily stated. Both elbows on the table, hand and fingers needed together, she rested her chin on the flat surface on her hands. A huge, loving smile on her face. With Oliver's scaly arm around her waist.

"She's sick. Funny thing is she has a cold how ironic is that?" Rider laughed as everyone else did.

2 hours later

The finally bell rang and Maggie wished everyone a good day and promised to come to the whatever it was on Saturday.

She hummed and walked past a costume store. One costume caught her eye in particular. It was a black knee length dress. The bottom layer of the dress was red puffy material. The second ond was cotton white. And the finally layer was silk black.

The trim on the black silk was gold woth black and red bows. The corset part was shaped like a heart, it was all black expect for the front embroidered with red trim. On the white front patch was a red heart at the top and the bottom.

There were swirls of gold around the hearts. The puffy  short sleeves were a mixture of gold and black, and the was a queens caller with hearts behind for the back of the neck.

She instantly feel in love with it.

Maggie walked in the store took her size of the rack and put it on. She walked out to the dressing room mirror. And looked at the costume on her.

With her dark hair curled after unwinding her braid she looked like a queen. Maggie blushed hard. She went back, changed into her clothes and went to pay for the costume.

(Ace)

He watched her leave to cafeteria and continued with the rest of the school day. As soon as it was over he went to start home.  As he was walking he saw the one person he despises most. Pain. He was going to kill him. He ran up to him and spoke, "Why the heck are you speaking to Maggie?"

Pain turned and answered, "Because she asked me to. Now why don' t you run along and go play bomb or something stupid with your sister."

Pain was caught by surprise as Ace's fist made contact with his face. He staggered back. Ace could see that he was pissed and that's when he punched back. Problem was Pain was Bane's son which meant that he had the vemon running through his veins.

"Stupid boy. Did you really think that you could really beat the son of Bane? Venom runs through my veins. Don't ever come at me again!" He spat. Shaking the blood off his knuckles.

(Maggie)

She walked back up the sidewalk and saw something. Some dark figure leaning against a tree. Curiosity got the better of her. She walked closer and gasped. Maggie ran to Ace.

"OH. MY. GOSH. ACE! HELP! SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!" Maggie screamed.
