CHAPTER 22 : EPISODE 7 (LOSES AND GAINS)

"Love, should we take a break? I'm pretty tired."

I nodded as Alex's said that. I'm pretty worned out from fighting the beasts for the sub-mission earlier. So far,only 2 sub-mission we were given and now, it's been 3 days both of us walking to find Meqido City.

Then,I can feel warm hand touching my shoulder.

"Are you okay?"

I sighed and smiled. "I'm okay,dear. Just a little bit tired."

He nodded. "Well,then. We should stop for a while. I set up the tent. Will you cook for us?"

"No need to ask me that,dear. I will cook for you forever." I chuckled, earning a madly blushing face of my beloved fiance.

He quickly setting up the tent, while I'm cooking something.

While I'm chopping the chicken and other ingredients I bought,I can feel someone arm snaking towards my waist. I smiled, knowing who it was.

"Do you already finish setting up the tent?"

He snuggled to my neck,"Yeah.."

I chuckled and place my hand to his cheek.

"Does chicken soup sounds good to you?"

He happily nodded,"Anything you cook is good to me,love!"

I immediately hugged him tightly,"Why are you so cute?!!"

He giggles at my hugging and let me hugged him more further. After 2 minutes of hugging,I decided to continue on cooking. Alex also helped me with the preparation. It's kind of normal for both of us to helped each other since,before this,he always coming to my house to ate my foods. Then,he would helped me with the cooking. So, it's like our everyday routine, even in this apocalypse.

Finally, we're done cooking!

[Crystal 'Sun God, Sol Invictus' agreed with Crystal 'The Ice Queen, Lady Khione'!]

Both of us chuckled at the crystal.

"You can join us if you want." Alex said,and I just nodded in agreeing.

[Crystal 'The Ice Queen, Lady Khione' said they can't until you reach 15th mission.]

"I see,well.. it's a shame though. Don't worry,I will cook for you." I smiled.

[Crystal 'Sun God, Sol Invictus' said that he proud that his vessel choosing someone good for him!]

Alex happily chuckled and give thumb up, directed to the sky. "Let's go eat then,dear." I said as I get ready to give his portion.

Alex sat right besides me, waiting for me to give him his soup. I give him the soup and Alex just straight eating it and slurping the soup.

"Is it delicious?"

"Yes! Everything you cook always be delicious!"

"Geez, you're so cute."

After half a hour,we finally done eating and get ready to sleep. Suddenly,we can hear something rustling behind the bush. Alex insisted me on stay behind him,but this is the time, I'm being stubborn and followed him to see what is behind the bush.

I immediately summon my ice scepter and same goes to Alex,he unsheathed his sword.

"Ready?"
