CHAPTER 24 : EPISODE 8 (WHY?)

"It's been how many days we were walking?" Leo looked at me.

I sighed,"4 days to be exact."

"Should we take a rest? I mean,we already walking for straight 11 hours,only to rest for lunch." Leo stopped and let a loud yawned escaped from his mouth.

"If you says so, besides I'm still pretty tired from our 5th sub mission today, seriously that cat won't even let us rest." I chuckled.

"Good! Finny and you set up the tent,I do the cooking? Chop chop?" Leo raised his eyebrows.

Finny was making eyes contact with me. I nodded,he also nodded.

"Chop chop!" Both of us said in unison.

All of soon laughed and proceed to do our own job. Well, having little adventure with this two boys.. was enjoyable. I'm glad I didn't ended up with Angelo because who knows what I'm going to do. Both of us probably try to assassinate each other at our sleep.

With Leo's here,we actually had decent breakfast,lunch and dinner. No, decent actually not the word I would like to describe it,'Fancy' more suitable for his food. I mean,he literally can make any foods! I did asked him why he doesn't want to be chef. What I get as answer is he loves saving people's live. Although,he will open a restaurant once he got retired,which is good.

For Finny, despite his age.. he's quite mature. He might be a little childish but only with Mion. With us, he's pretty docile. He listened to every words we said,and politely give us a suggestion. I guess not all kids like this.

I chuckled as I thinking about it.

"Is something wrong, auntie Maria?"

I ruffled the boy fluffy hair. "Nope, nothing's wrong. Let's hurry up,Leo must be cooking something delicious."

Finny nodded happily and joining me connecting the tent. After almost 10 minutes, both if us finally done doing the tent.

"High five,buddy!" Finny give me the high five back.

"Dinner's ready, kiddos!" Leo shouted.

"I hope I'm not one of the kiddos!" I shouted back and soon chuckled, Finny also join too.

"Well,sorry in advance,you are one of the kiddos." He laughed as he give our portion of foods.

I pouted but soon gone because the smell of our dinner is making my mouth drooled. For this time,Leo cooked us a very delicious grilled steak. I'm not even sure how he did cooked this but for sure,he knows how to use the inventory shop well,too well.

"Let's dig in!" Finny decided to said it.

Both Leo and I just laughed at his actions. N.ot even a minute of our relaxing moment,all of us can feel sudden heavy pressure. Although,I somehow familiar with the pressure but where?

"Guys,get ready.."

I slowly take out my fan from my back, Finny also letting out his dagger and Leo did the same, taking his pole out. All of us are in fighting position. The boys waiting for me to instructed them.

The two figures soon came out from the dark area..

"1 and ATTACK!"

All of us jumped to the both figures. Finny and I managed to hold down the first one. I grabbed her or his neck while Finny restraining the hand.

I looked at Leo who's already lying,like he was knocked out by something. Then,I looked at the figure. I squinted my eyes,try to adjusting my eyes and quickly realizing who he is.
