Leo picked me up and told the others what was needed to be done. Although I wasn't paying attention to what was happening at all. Though I sorta blacked out for a bit because it seemed like a few hours flew by like seconds. I woke up on a couch in the Turtles lair.
"How in the name of vampires did I get here?" I said quietly to myself. I then realized that Splinter was right near the couch.
"Holy shit, Splinter, make a little noise to warn a vamp!" I said not realizing I let out the fact I was a vampire.
"Don't worry my sons are out." Splinter said seemin to notice that I had a bit of panic on my face. I let out a sigh of relief.
"Um how did I get here, Splinter?" I asked still a bit confused with how I did.
"My sons found you on the roof of you home. You seemed to be crying after you got in a fight with your foster parents. Although they didn't know what was going on between your and them. So my sons where worried about you and followed you to the roof." Splinter said sorta stating the obvious.
"Ok but that doesn't complete explain how I got here." I said calmly.
"Right while they were carrying you here you passed out." Splinter said and I only nodded. I relaxed slightly then looked at Splinter.
"I sorta had a breakdown. Sure I'm a vamp and all but I still hate being treated like a kid when I am not a kid. I couldn't take it anymore and I flipped but not enough to show my true nature." I said quietly sorta scared of what I could do if I didn't get my anger under control at some point. But it was my anger that kept me alive all these years.
"It will be ok, LJ." Splinter said. I looked at him slightly and smiled.
"Splinter what time is it?" I asked slightly and Splinter told me that it was dark out.
"Mind if I stay I can stay for the night? It's the weekend anyway." I said as I looked at Splinter, who nodded.
"Sure, LJ, as long as you want." Splinter said and I smiled slightly. I closed my eyes slightly relaxing a bit.
"Sensei we are back!" I heard Mickey yell causing me to inwardly growl.
"Must ya shout Mickey?" I said sitting up and looked at the four, who seemed surprised to see me. Must have forgotten they brought me here maybe.
"LJ, you are feeling better than what you were before we brought you here, right?" Leo asked while Raph gave me some kind of weird look.
"What's with the look Raph? Got something on ya mind?" I said sorta ignorin Leo. When I did not get a reply I shook me head and stood up.
"I think I'll get something to drink." I said then went towards the kitchen area in the group's lair.
"Well at least she seems ok. Although Sensei, what did cause he to act like that?" I heard Leo ask while I was in the kitchen somewhat going through the fridge.
"She was only a bit stressed. She is new to the city and to a new family, my sons." Splinter said even though that was partly the truth that I never really said about.
"Really, that we didn't know." Leo responded to Splinter as I found something to drink. I picked it up and headed towards the living room to see the Turtles and Splinter quietly talking about something.
"If I'm a bother to y'all I could leave. It's not a big deal to me really." I said not looking at them not wanting my eyes to betray me.
"One of us could take ya home then." Mickey said seeming to want to know if he could walk me home this time. I sorta forced myself not to laugh at this.
"Mickey I think I can walk myself home. I'm not a weak girl." I said slightly laughing. Mickey just looked at me then he laughed but that ended as soon as Raph hit him upside the head.
"Well I guess I'll see y'all around." I said then went towards the door not giving the others a chance to react. I got out to the sewer part and started for the nearest manhole sipping the Root Beer I got from the lair. It took me a while to find one but by then my drink was done so I left the can and headed up the ladder.
"Finally out of the sewer." I muttered once I climbed through the manhole and saw tons of criminals.
"Fucking great. Gotta deal with possible rapists." I said then smirked to myself.
"But I shall get a meal out of this." I said then I moved with vampiric speed as they attacked me.
