Shortcuts On Microsoft Word

Because I'm lazy and because sometimes it is less annoying than going to the mouse for simple things.

ctrl + b = bold

ctrl + I = italicized

ctrl + u = underlined

ctrl + shift + > = increased font size

ctrl + shift + < = decreased font size

ctrl + n = new document

ctrl + s = save

ctrl + p = print

ctrl + f = navigation/find

ctrl + = = subscript below

ctrl + shift + + = subscript above

ctrl + shift + f = font settings

ctrl + l =align text left

ctrl + e = center text

ctrl + r = align text right

ctrl + j = justify

ctrl + a = select all

ctrl + z = undo

ctrl + y = redo

ctrl + h = replace

F7 = spell/grammar check

After highlighting a section of words:

Ctrl + u = section will be underlined/un-underlined

Ctrl + i = section will be italicized/un-italicized

Ctrl + b = section will be bolded/un-bolded

Shift + F3 = capitalize/un-capitalize section, or will capitalize first letter of each word (more than one click for options)

Double click on the top or bottom of page to open a head/footer. Double click away from top or bottom to exit header/footer.

Ctrl + enter = insert new page
