"What the hell is this" Makani said
"Ummmm so yeah" Akami said
"What!" Makani said
"So Aya ditched us and soldiers found us and they saved us"Daiki said
Makani glared over at Aya, "You left them what the hell is your problem" Makani said
Aya looked at her feet "I needed alone time", "Seriously!! They could've Died!! I bet you could really have some alone time then huh!" Makani exclaimed. "it's Not like that!!" Aya yelled
"Then what the hell is it Aya!! what could possibly be more important than them!!" Makani said
"I get it I screwed up it was a mistake" Aya said
"A MISTAKE that could've gotten our them killed!! because of your own selfishness" Makani spat out. Aya stormed out.
It was a little awkward in here now,
"Thank you for saving them I don't know how to repay you" Makani said to us
" No problem my name is Hana" I said
"Hi Hana"Makani said I smiled gently he kind of has an accent.
"These are my sisters Nalani, Abeni, and Alani"
He waved to them
" What are you guys doing around here?" Makani said
"We're on our way to Atlanta to join the Marked ones group" Nalani said
He looked excited, "That's where we're heading" Makani exclaimed
"It's been hard taking care of everyone im the only one with control over my abilities and I got the short end of the stick all my powers involve the mind I can mind read and at most bend earth" Makani said
"We could all travel together" I said "Only if you guys are down" I said
"I don't want to burden you guys we're a lot to handle" Makani said
"No way you'd burden us we have to stick together at times like this" I said to him I said excitedly. He looked at Hana with admiration in his eyes and smiled, "sure then" Makani said
"Come outside with me guys " Alani said
We followed her outside I told makani we'd be right back.
"How the hell do we know we can trust them" Alani said
"We don't but we should stick together it's good to make friends rather than enemies" I said
"I think Hana's right they seem like a good addition Lani" Nalani said
"What about the sister what if she causes trouble" Abeni said
"I think we'd be able to handle her let's just give them a shot" I said
"Fine Hana but i'm keeping an eye on that girl Aya" Alani said
I smiled at them I was happy I love meeting new people, I know Nalani and Alani worry about me I prefer not to show that side of me.
To be honest I feel guilty, guilty that I lived it hurts so bad I wanna scream but I smile I miss them so much I loved them with everything I had. These gals are my family if I lost them I don't know what i'd do.
"Perfect we leave tomorrow for Atlanta then" I exclaimed
"Let's go tell them" Alani grunted
We all walked back inside to the kids to tell them. The little boy Daiki looked so void of emotions sad I wonder what they must've seen.
"We leave tomorrow first thing" Nalani said
The kids looked happy and excited Makani looked relieved probably had a huge weight lifted off his shoulders.
I think adding more people to our group will be a good thing more allies and friends. why not?
I sat outside, even though the world is like dying the sky looks so much prettier it's always green and purple at night and the stars shine so much brighter. I see Makani from the corner of my eye he comes over and sits next to me and looks at the sky too.
"You like the way it looks too now" Makani says
I nod my head and smile at him.
"Thanks" Makani Said
"For what?" I look at him confused.
"It's Hana right? These walls are thin thanks for giving us a chance to come with you guys" Makani says with a smile.
His accent is cute.
I looked at him and smiled "No problem"
We sat there watching the sky admiring it every once in a while we'd made eye contact it wasn't awkward it was nice silence in our own thoughts.
Until we saw a flare in the sky the Soldiers use flares I know he thought as we looked at each other we need to get out of here.
"Come on let's get them out of here" I said
He nodded and we rushed inside
"Oh Hana I was just about t-" Nalani was saying before I cut her off sorry about that Na Na
"Soldiers are coming we need to go now" I said
"how the hell did they find us!!!" Alani exclaimed
"No idea but let's not find out" I said
We packed our things we had 2 cars Azami, Daiki, Abeni, Nalani and Micah are going to be riding together Me, Makani, Aya, and Alani are in the second car.
We got our things together and followed behind Nalani's car we drove for about 5 minutes and as we looked back at the house we were in we see it is up in flames.
