As soon as the sentence leaves Dream's mouth, George knows he's fucked. Who's idea was it to take the stupid quiz? It certainly wasn't George's, but he can't help the mixed feelings that course through his body when Dream laughs it off. He can't stop himself when he's typing into his browser the question that's now bothering him.

"You are a little in love with your best friend," Dream says with a laugh.

George blinks in surprise and his heart stops as he forces himself to laugh along, thinking, What the fuck?

Dream laughs again and says, "It says you are in love with a few things about your best friend, so it's likely you could fall entirely in love with them if things keep up the way they are right now."

"Wow," George says blankly, static in his ears as the words run through his mind again and again.

He loses focus and goes quiet for a long moment, catching the end of Dream's sentence, "...you don't wanna ruin what you have. Wow."

"You wouldn't want to ruin, Dream," is all George can think of, his heart stuttering in his chest.

George's eyes are wide as he watches the discord chat fly by with a series of "WHAT?" "4k" "~late nights in the middle of June~" and pride flag emotes. He laughs nervously and just agrees with whatever Dream says as he reads through the statistics.

There's a series of awkward pauses and Dream eventually says, "Alright, I think we're done."

"You think?"

"I think, yeah. I think, unfortunately, we are done," Dream says, his voice slightly rushed. "... that was a cool podcast."

"Where are you going?" George asks, part of him wanting an explanation for what just happened and part of him confused.

"Why are you so nosy?" Dream asks with a laugh and George is even more confused and repeats his question.

"I'm off to see the wizard," Dream says awkwardly, "the wonderful wizard of―"

"You can't end like that," George interrupts and there's a silence.

And then Dream completely ignores George as he finds someone to discord raid. Minutes later, Dream leaves the discord, leaving George in confused silence with five thousand others. He forces out cheerful byes and then leaves.

George leans back in his seat, his cheeks slightly flushed as he goes over the two hours worth of the podcast in his brain. As he tries to figure out what led up to Dream taking that stupid quiz.

George scoffs as Dream's words echo in his head. Is Dream... No. He doesn't allow himself to finish his thought. He stares blankly at the streamer in front of him, not even caring about the Minecraft game or the streamer's cat ears. All he can see is the chat as they spam, "DNF RAID!"

The streamer asks them about the podcast and the quizzes and the chat tells him everything. George's chest sinks as he closes out of Twitch and opens Twitter, finding himself wincing as he sees the trending page.

Not really is trending, combined with, You're a little in love with your best friend. Hundreds of tweets are made each passing second and George's chest is tight as he closes Twitter.
