45 days in and the young woman was still feeling like absolute garbage. But she had an appointment to get to, and so did Marinette.
The young couple and Nathalie had arrived a few minutes early but were still ushered in.
"Good afternoon Nathalie,Marinette" The doctor greeted with a smils on his face "So Nathalie I asume you're going first as always so please lay down" he smiled, she nodded and went to lay down on the table he had for patient's.
When he was almost finished with both Marinette and Nathalie he gave them details about their children
"Your babies weigh 0.02 ounces and they are 0.50 inches, so your babies brain's are developing quite fast making your babies head's much larger in proportion to the rest of the body. And more exciting news, the inner ear has taken shape and the eye lids are beginning to develop! Meaning your babies eyes are beginning to form" He smiled
"Oh and your babies cartilage is beginning to form in the arm and leg buds, which will eventually develop into strong bones!" He stated with a satisfied smile on his face.
"And as you both know, you two are high risk, typically your first ultrasound would be at 7 weeks and 5 days but, its a different scenario with you two as you're supposed to come in weekly" he stated, the young women nodded with a sad expression displayed on their faces.
"Oh and Marinette, Nathalie, I detected a heart beat" he smiled, Nathalie's eyes filled with tears and the two young women hugged. Sadly Adrien was waiting in the waiting room so he'd have to wait to hear the good news.
"Would you two like to hear them?" He asked "Yes please" Marinette responded for them both.
Marinette had recorded Nathalie's and Nathalie had done the same for Marinette.
"And before I forget Nathalie, I've noticed that you're starting to show a bit, typically the earliest you can show is 8 weeks but it looks like the baby belly is already beginning to form!" He said with amazement lacing his voice "Yeah I'm kinda nervous about my partner seeing, I haven't told him yet" she smiled as she cupped the tiny curve.
"My only suggestion is to wear baggier clothing and to tell him" He said softly "I'll tell him when I'm sure I can't miscary" she promised. Marinette rubbed her shoulder as a way of comfort before pulling her into a hug. Marinette wasn't even showing any signs of showing yet and she had already told her boyfriend so she had no need to worry, well she only had to worry about her parents and Gabriel.
The three left a few minutes later as they had no need to stay there any longer. Whe they showed Adrien the video's the young blonde began to cry. Happy tears of course though.
