It's just not right
that those who fight
to protect one another
from sickness' sightstill snared by claws
through armor's flaws
as the careless carry on.
At my gut, it gnaws.I worry. I fret
over news I get
about the recovery.
Are they safe, yet? From the denial's side,
some freely advise
not wanting to debate
what they won't analyze.Hubris abound.

"Do your own research!"
Logic circles round.Engage with humility
and suppress emotionality,
the seething resentment
of coming inabilityto bear the critique.
In earnest I seek
to approach other side
vulnerable and meek.Though I wish to defend
those still on the mend
from insult to diminish struggle
deniers won't comprehend.Save my energy
for those in recovery
and whatever support
might be necessary.Be hopeful, I must,
and focus on trust
that it all balances out.
World somehow is just.
