ARIA POV :
Ezra and I have been married for 3 years. We both agreed to wait 1 year to have a baby just to live a life just the two of us and focus on our job. Ezra is writer and so am i. But i'm not like Ezra, his brain like a maniac, that man never runs out of idea. Once he finished one book, he already planned for another book and thats continue till now, his 7th book, 2 of the 7 is with me. I only published 3 book, 2 with Ezra and the other is all me. I work at publishing company who also published our book so we kinda work together. Our planned to postpone have a kid for 1 year actually continue till now, last year i ask Ezra but he's not ready he said its too much to handle if we have a baby now and i just agree. But now i feel like there's nothing stopping us right now, i mean we're happy, what could possibly make him think he's still not ready. I planned on telling him tonight but i'm not sure, i'm 100% ready but what if he's not. I guess i just ask.
We ready to sleep, i feel Ezra's arm wrapping my waist and kiss my head, we said goodnight but i can't stop thinking about that.
"Ezra? You asleep?" i ask softly
"Yeah? Almost, whats wrong honey?" he said sit up and looked down at me. He knew something was off
"uhhm nothing, just go back to sleep" i really wanna ask him but i'm afraid
"Hey baby, i know something was bothering you. You know you can tell me" he kissed my forehead and i closed my eyes to calm myself before i ask
"Look Ezra, i know we agree to wait untill we're both ready. And now i feel like we are, i mean we're happy, we are mentally and physically healthy and our financial is stable. What i'm saying is, i'm more than ready to have a baby" i asked sitting up. He took a deep breathe i know for a fact this isn't a good thing
"But only if you want to, it takes two to tango, you know" i said before he could say anything
"Hey baby, i know what you're mean. But in the next few months we had book tour all around the world and i don't think its a good idea for pregnant woman or the baby. So can we wait at least a few more months? I promise, after our 3rd book together is finished we take a break from work and focused to try have a baby. Hows that sounds?" he said sofly take my hand in his
"Yeah okay.. you're right" i lay back down and not facing him because i lied and tears start to fall of my eyes any second soon
"Ok, back to sleep baby. Night, Love you" he kissed my head again and pull the blanket so thats cover our body.
"Love you too" he wrapped his arm around me again.
NEXT DAY
EZRA POV :
"Aria don't take too long we already 5 minutes late and we haven't even going" i shouted from downstairs to my wife who took LOOONGG TIME to get ready
"Sorry sorry, i'm ready now" she runs downstairs
"Okay lets go"
"Wait, where is the present for Callie? She wouldn't be happy if we forgot.
We are going to Hanna and Caleb's to celebrate their daughter birthday.
(Ok so,the other have a children.'Let me make a list
- Hanna and Caleb : Callie (3yo) Aiden (1yo)
- Spencer and Toby : Avery (2yo)
- Emily and Alison : Grace and Lily (4yo) and recently adopt new baby boy James (4 month old) )
"I already put them in the trunk along with the other presents for all the children"
"Ok then, lets get going" we walk to the car hand in hand
AT HANNA's
We knock at Hanna's frontdoor and she opened it
"FINALLY The Fitz's here. What took you so long? You don't have a kid to change them diaper aren't you" i chuckled and Aria looked down, i know what she's thinking
"Sorry Hann, miss perfect need a million times to get ready" i said referring to Aria we all laugh and step inside
When we're inside we all welcomed by screaming from the kids
"Aunty Ariaa!! Uncle Ezraa!! I miss you guys so much" Callie screamed and Aria pick her up
"Happy birthday Princess, i love you amd i missed you too" Aria said and kissed her cheek
"Happy birthday Callie" i said and handing her presents
"Woah presents thankyou Aunty Aria and Uncle Ezra" she said as Aria placed her down
"You're welcome sweetie. And you'all kids don't be too sad i brought presents for all of you" Aria said and showing them all the presents for each kid
"Oh Aria this is so sweet of you. Thankyou guys" Emily said, we nodded and smiled. The kids are thrilled since we're the only one who gave them all presents
"You know what Aria, it will be much better if you spoiled your own kids. C'mon Aria, little fitzy or little you running around that must be cute" Spencer shouted
"Yeah, you two make amazing couple and i had no doubt that you two will also be wonderful parents. You've worked enough, give a time. Please don't tell me you're still not ready. You're good enough with our kids" Hanna added in. I can feel Aria already crying inside. I wrapped my hands around her waist and pull her closer
"We're trying guys. Just wish us luck" Aria lied looked at me with faked smile and now i feel bad for her. I kissed her head
"Better get fast then" Ali shout we chuckled
As the party goes, we catch up, Aria is not like usual, she more quiet today and i caused this, last night talk wash my memories and i feel bad for her.
The party finished and we all went home. On our way to home, the car is filled with silence, uncomfortable silence. Aria just looked at the window all the time. By the time we got home, Aria straight upstairs but i stopped her
"Aria, baby, wait please" she stopped her steps and back to me
"Yeah?" her voiced weak like she hold on the tears
"Look honey, i'm sorry. I know you've been ready since long time but you waited for me and i'm sorry for that, i thought it was for the best you know"
"Ezra, don't talk about it now i'm tired" she walked away again but i grabbed her wrist
"No, listen to me. I'm ready, we can postponed the book tour or even don't do it at all. If you want to, lets do it"
"No Ezra, i don't want you to feel pressured. I want you to do it its because you want to not because you have to and make me happy"
"I'm serious. I want to. Maybe this whole time i was just scared i don't know why but i'm ready now"
i smiled and her face lit up like 5yo who just got candy
"Really?" i nodded. She hugged me tight
"Thank you baby" i kissed her head
"So when do you wanna try?" she asked
"How about right now" i said and she quickly jumped to me and we kissed passionately. She held her legs around my waist and we went to the bedroom not breaking the kiss.
I placed her down at the bed and we start unbuttoning each other clothes. I kissed her hard and start kissing her neck giving her hickey as she let out a small moan.
"Wait, don't you still in IUD?" i stopped
"Not since last week" she smirked
"Good" we continue what we're doing. The room filled with screamed, moaned, and for sure, pleasure.
1 month later
ARIA POV :
I haven't been feeling well lately and i optimism that i'm pregnant. So i went to the nearest drugstore and buy some pregnancy test. I back home and do the test, i really want to wait Ezra so we could do it together but the more i thinking it would be cute if i surprised him. Ezra has been in Philly all day for work and i'm staying home prepared for the dinner and the surprises. I put pregnancy test, neutral color onesie, baby socks and pacifiers all in one box, the top of all of it i put some note which write :
"Hello Daddy!
I'm your future daughter / son.
I can't wait to meet you Daddy, see you around 9 month daddy <3 "
I prepared the dinner table and the meal ready. Just as i finished pour the white wine to Ezra's glass and mine water, Ezra come in
"Hey Baby, hmm what smells so good" he come near me and kissed me
"Just roasted chicken and salad also some wine for you"
"Fancy, what are we celebrating for?" he seat down at the dinner table
"We are celebrating this" I put the box in front of him, he looked at me confused
"Whats all this?" he said as he opened the box
"Just opened it" I sit accros him waiting for his reaction
Once he open and explore the whole box he began to look at me and down again to the box and found some pregnancy test and a notes. His face lit up
"Oh my god! Aria, are you serious?"
"No i'm kidding, i ask some pregnant woman to took a test. Ofcourse i'm serious" i chuckled
"Ohmygod, i can't believe it, i love you so much honey" He pick me up and spun me around
"We love you too daddy" we chuckled and he kissed me passionately.
