General POV
Aria and Ezra have been working hard on their long distance relationship. When Aria graduated they agreed to stay together. Aria goes to Savannah University of Art and Design. They have been doing long distance for almost 3 years now. Only 1 year left before Aria comeback to Rosewood. Aria mostly comeback home at summer break, thanksgiving and chrismast, for the other holiday (halloween, easter, springbreak, etc) it depends on her, if she's too busy she choose to stay. Also, Ezra come visit her sometimes if he's not too busy. He's now working on his 2nd book and running the Brew as well.
Ezra and Aria always texting each other everyday and spare a little time at night for facetime. They relationship going on so well through years.
ARIA POV :
5pm
I just finished my last class for today and now i'm on my way to starbucks to buy some coffee because i need it for help me sane through working on my home work. then i got a text from Ezra
"Hey baby, what are you doing now? I was wondering if i could facetime you now? I want to talk about something. Love you and miss you babe" its not usual Ezra face time at this time, we mostly face time at night like 8 / 9pm before we go to bed. So its must be important.
"Hey Babe, i was just finished my last class, i'll call you in 1 hour. Is that okay? Love you and miss you too!" i replied and within a seconds he replied with Ok.
I'm on my way to my dorm and get ready for face tike with Ezra. I called him and he pick up right away
"Hey baby!" Ezra said smiling
"Hii honey! Sooo what do you want to talk about" i asked as i saw his nervousness.
"Just some things" he hesitant to talk
"Babe, cmon you can talk to me about anything. Spill it" i'm getting impatient now
"I'm uhm, i got an offer job at Hollis"
"Ezra! Thats great! Why are you so nervous? Did you take it?"
"Well yeah, noo i haven't take it yet. I want to ask you first"
"Hey, i really appreciate that you come and talk to me. But this thing is depends on you not me. I won't be the one who's holding you back. If you want to then you take it. I know for sure you missed teaching"
"Yeah, i mean i made enough money from the brew and the book i working on now. But yeah, i do missed teaching, and now i have a lot of freetime when i'm not writing or working at brew. But--" i interrupted him
"But nothing. You like teaching and you missed it. And i know you are soo good at it. So just take it! As long as you're not falling for another college student" i said sarcastically and he chuckled
"I'm not. Its just, Jackie is the one who gave me the job and she's gonna be working there as well" he sighed as my jaw dropped, my mouth opened shock. There is been silece for at least 1 minute
"Aria, baby say something! Ok, i'm not gonna take it"
"Sorry, its okay just take it. As long you promise you didn't have feelings for her and NOT gonna falling for her again" i said sternly also playfully
"I promise baby. You're my one and only! Soo i take it?" i nodded
"Thank you baby. You're the best. And btw, you're coming for chrismast right?"
"Yeah i'll be back in two weeks" he smiled but i lied though, i wanna surprise him so i'm coming a week early.
"Yes! I can't wait to see you. I missed you too much" i chuckled
"I missed you too baby, alright i gotta go i have some homework to do" and with that we called goodbye and call it night. Not gonna lie, i'm still worried about him and Jackie but i'm no gonna let my thoughts ruining this chance for him. I know how much he missed it.
1 week later
Now is December 10th i was supposed to come home Dec 17th but i finished all of my classes early so i decided i'd surprise everyone in Rosewood especially my boyfriend.
3pm. I just landed in Rosewood, cause no one know i'm home so i took a cab and went to my parents house because well yea technically i still lived there. After about 30 minutes ride i arrived and i knocked the front door, my mom opened it and she's well mu dads to surprise seeing i'm home early. We catch up untill now 5pm i decided to go to Ezra's loft.
Before i went upstairs to Ezra's i stopped by the Paula's and bought our fav pie and also coffee from the brew. I decided i'm gonna use my spare key so i don't have to knock. When i opened it i saw Ezra and Jackie laughing on the couch, its better than kissing but its not so good when your boyfriend and other woman alone in his apartment.
"Oh, i'm sorry for interupt. I'm just gonna come back later. I bought pie and coffee" i said as i placed the pie and coffee at the table. I ran off holding my tears back
EZRA POV :
I'm in the middle of meeting with Jackie in my apartment when suddenly my door open and its Aria. God. Bad timing.
"Oh, i'm sorry for interupt. I'm just gonna come back later. I bought pie and coffee" i can see she's holding her tears
"No, Aria wait!" i grabbed her wrist and turn her around
"Continue your meeting. I'll come back later when i want to"
"Baby please its not like what its look like." She let go my hand and ran off. crying.
"Jackie i think you should leave"
"Yeah, i'm sorry. I'll try to talk to her okay. Thats the least i can do"
"Thanks"
I try calling and text her but nothing. I'm just gonna let her calm herself down.
ARIA POV :
I can't believe it. He promised me. I ran off the building and straight to my car just crying my eyes out. I need to calmed myself if i want to drive. But someone knock my window, its Jackie. Hhhh
"What do you want" i ask harshly
"May i come in?" i nodded and she opened the passenger seat.
"Look Aria, i know what you think after you sae Ezra and me. Especially after our history i don't blame you for being angry." I just silence motioned her to continue
"But i promise NOTHING happen in there. We're just meeting and talk about tasks. I promise you. I have no intentions to ruined you relationship. Not again. Besides, i already engaged to someone else" she says genuinely and show me her engagement ring
"Really?" she nodded
"Thank you Jackie, and I'm sorry. Me and Ezra have been through so much and we currently doing LDR so its not easy. And when i come home to suprised him and saw you two together. Well, what can you expect"
"I know. I'm sorry again Aria. Now you better back with Ezra."
"Yeah, thanks again Jackie. Oh and, congrats for you engagement." She smiled at me and out of my car. And i decided to back to Ezra
The door still open and i entered. I saw him sipped his glass of scotch like what he always did when he's stressed out. Just when he want to take another sip i stopped him and grab the glass right away.
"Ok enough" i grabbed the glass from his hand
"Aria. Baby i'm sorry nothing happen i promise. If this is make you uncomfortable i'll quit tomorrow. Please forgive me" i just smiled at his expression, he really love me didn't he
"why are you smiling"
"Nothing, its okay. You don't have to apologize or quit your job. Jackie talked to me and i believed her, she's engaged to someone else and she also said she had no intentions to come between us again." i smiled
"Really. I can't believe Jackie really did that but thank god we can finally be together without worrying about her"
"I love you Aria"pulled me into his embrace and kissed my head
"I love you too Ezra"
