A car pulled over across the street and dropped the two of you off.

"Thank you, Takemichi!" you wave at him.

"No problem. Chifuyu, take care of her." he said with a smile.

"Yes, I understand. Thank you, partner."

"Y/n, is it all right? It's too late, your brother will be mad." Takemichi said.

"I already texted her brother." Chifuyu said.

"Wow, Chifuyu, you're the best." Takemichi exclaimed.

"And he's fine with it because he knows I'm safe with you guys." you explained.

The sky was a deep, clear and the moonlight as you and Chifuyu walk to your house.

Takemichi, your best friend, introduced you to Chifuyu. You and Chifuyu get along because you're always the third wheel. You used to hang out with him because Takemichi was always with Hinata, his girlfriend.

Your hair is dancing through the air in the moonlight, and it's cold outside at night.

"Are you cold?" he questioned, and you responded with a nod. He put on his jacket and put you in it.

"Thank you, Fuyu." Your cheeks are hot, and you're blushing.

"Cute." he murmured, but you heard him clearly.

When your eyes meet, it's as if time has stopped, he just stares at you, and you do the same to him. You've admired him for years, he's sweet and gentle, and he's the best boy for everyone.

You realize you've been staring at him for several minutes. You can't stand his stares any longer, so you pull out your phone.

"Let's take a picture." you suggested, and he laughed.

"All right, kitten." he said, a smile on his lips.

"What?!" he just laughed.

You count and smile before pressing the camera. You take two photos.

"Wait, stop." he said as he moved away, but you pulled him closer so he could see in camera.

The cool night breeze whistled softly, blowing lightly through your hair. Chifuyu, who stares at you, couldn't stop himself from admiring you more. 'Pretty' he said in his mind. 

"One more-" his soft lips brush against your right cheek. Chifuyu gave you a kiss.

"Y/n, I like you so much that I'm sorry I can't stop myself. I'm sorry." he said softly, blushing.

You look at him, his words still echoing in your mind. You can't move or speak because you're overjoyed that he felt the same way and confessed first. It was as if your heart was about to burst.

"Chifuyu, did you feel the same way?" you asked, as if it weren't true.

"Yes, I'm sorry.. Am I late-wait.. felt the same way? So you..." you hug him.

"Yeah, me too. I like you, Chifuyu."

"I assumed you liked Takemichi." he explained.

"He's taken, come on," you said, "and I've liked you for years, I want to confess my feelings, but I'm too nervous."

"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting. I promised I wouldn't hurt you." he said as he hugged you back.

"So you're now my boyfriend?" you asks. He pinched your nose.

"Yes, but I want to court you." he said as he kissed your brow and patted your head.

"And now go inside, your brother is waiting for you. I'll see you tomorrow, I love you."

You give his jacket.

"I don't need it, I'm home, and it's cold. Take care, and see you tomorrow." you say as you kiss him on the cheeks and rush inside.

When you look back at him, you see him laughing, and he sees you and waves.

You blushed and smiled as you remembered the scene in which he confessed to you.
  
   
   
  

"So he confessed already, huh? It's good that you're no longer a third wheel." you were surprised to hear your brother's voice, Peh-yan.

"Stop it bro, you're just single." he laughed and teased you even more, so you dashed to your room and changed your wallpaper to the photo you took when Chifuyu kissed you.
