ℑ𝔣 ℑ 𝔣𝔞𝔩𝔩 𝔣𝔬𝔯 𝔶𝔬𝔲 𝔞𝔤𝔞𝔦𝔫 ℑ'𝔪 𝔥𝔬𝔭𝔦𝔫𝔤 𝔱𝔥𝔞𝔱 𝔶𝔬𝔲'𝔩𝔩 𝔠𝔞𝔱𝔠𝔥 𝔪𝔢

    

It's been three months since you parted ways with your former boss. You hide from him so you don't have to see his face. Of course, you have reasons.

You make your way to your new boss's office. He's nice and handsome, and you two get along well enough that you consider him a friend outside of work.

"Sir, you have an appointment with..." you looked through your notes to see who your boss, Kazutora, would be meeting with at this time.

"Mr. Ken Ryuguji-" you double-checked the name to make sure it was correct. You look at your boss, who was staring at you because you didn't finish what you were saying.

"Shit." you muttered. Kazutora noticed that you didn't look good, so he asked, "Are you good?"

You accidentally told him about your past with your ex-boss when you hung out and got drunk, but you didn't say it was Draken.

"It was Draken." you said, causing Kazutora to pause and realize and comprehend what was going on by the way you called his friend's name.

The two of you hear the door open.

"Kazutora." you froze when you heard his voice, you can't even move your feet to leave the room.

"You didn't know how to knock? Draken, what brought you here?" Kazutora asked. He walks over to you and pulls his coat over your shoulders.

"I just want to say hi to you. " he said.

"Just wait here, my secretary is sick, and I'm going to take her to the clinic." your boss said, placing his hand on your shoulder to guide you.

"And I'm here because I'm going to take Y/n back." Draken continued. 

"Who's she?" 

"Don't make me dumb, Kazutora." 

"You can't. She's my employee. She's my secretary now."

"Shut up, Kazutora. She's my runaway secretary, and she's mine." he stated solemnly.

You feel uncomfortable and feel sorry for your boss because he was dragged into your problem.

"No, I'm not yours." you declared, finally revealing yourself.

"Why did you leave me?" he asked.

After what he did to you, he asks you like he didn't do anything to hurt you. But the truth is that you didn't let him explain his side. You ran away and didn't try to talk to him. 

You were irritated by his question, so you laughed sarcastically.

"Because you're impossible! You treat me more than your secretary, but you.. you didn't move on from the girl you loved before, you used me to forget about her, right? I heard you! When you're talking with Inupi.. you're just using me, what about me? I fell, I fell in your fucking game!"

"Y/n, relax." Kazutora said softly. "I'm sorry Kazutora, I didn't tell you that he's what I'm talking about." 

"It's fine-"

"Let's talk." Draken says, taking your hand in his and pulling you along with him.

"Stop." you said as you tried to free your hand from his grasp. He carries you so that you can't escape.

The employees are staring at you two when Draken goes outside the office to outside the company and it makes you embarrassed.

"Damn it, let me explain first, please." he said as he ushered you into the car. He clicks something, and the doors are locked, and you can't get out. Inupi was standing outside the car, waiting for Draken.

"Yes, I loved Emma for how many years, but when she died, I thought I wouldn't be able to move on from her... but when I met you, I learned how to forget her, she didn't come into my mind anymore because I'm with you." he said, resting his head on your shoulder. "What you heard is a misunderstanding. Did you hear our whole conversation? I guess you're not. I promised it was just a misunderstanding. Please believe me."

"I promised it's true, please, Y/n, give me a chance. I will prove it, just come back to me." he said quietly.

You watch him begging you. You want to give him another chance because you really love him. He's the man that can win all women's hearts. He's a good person and you believe in him. 

"I'm sorry," you whisper. "I didn't let you explain. I'm sorry. Let's give another chance to our relationship, but I'm not coming back to you as your secretary. I work for Kazutora now. And I think this may work for us."

"Yes, thank you, I understand." he replied, hugging you.

"I love you." he said.

After talking with Draken, and hugging you for minutes, he free you. You smile because you feel relieved. Inupi, who was standing outside the car smiles at you when you go outside. "Thank you." you said and he nodded. 

You return to your work. Draken said he'd pick you up after work. You're excited, and you want to finish your work as soon as possible so you can leave on time. You missed him.

You notice Kazutora staring at you and smiling, most likely teasing you.

"Are you two okay now?" he asks, and you nod with a blush on your cheeks. 

"That's good. Draken is a good boy. He's like that, he doesn't express or tell what he feels about people, but he cares on the inside and tries his hardest to protect those he loves."

"Good luck with your date! You'll be able to leave on time even if you don't finish your work today!" he said as he patted your shoulder.

"Wait, how did you know? And you know Draken?" 

"He's my best friend." he smiles innocently.
