"Why are you looking so down these days? Are you sick?" he asks as he takes your temperature.

"And it's a miracle you didn't ask me to take you to our gang spot." he said, pushing your plate in front of you, urging you to eat before going to school.

"I missed him." you admitted. Your brother looks confused as he takes your drink at kitchen.

"Shinichiro? Why? Did you fight with him?" he questioned, placing your milk beside you.

"Yes, I confessed." you said, causing your brother to choke on his food.

"What?" he exclaims. You're always saying at him, how much you like Shinichiro.

"Y/n, you're still fifteen, and you just admired him because you like tall and cool guys."

"And Benkei, he's handsome!" you whined.

"Where's the brother, Y/n huh? You're still a child, just confused." he explained.

"I'm not a child, I'm fifteen!" you exclaimed, rolling your eyes at him.

You're irritated because they treat you like a child, even Shinichiro. He's protective but Benkei, your brother does not want you to be hurt, and because they were delinquent and may have put you in danger, it is his responsibility to look after you as your brother.

But you like Shinichiro because he's nice and his smile makes your heart skip a beat. You sigh, yes, perhaps you're still young and will like someone one day.

"Eat first so we can leave right away." he added as he went inside his room to get ready.

You wait for your brother outside the school after school, it's been a half hour and you're still sitting beside the road, waiting for your brother to come get you.

"Y/n?" one of your classmates. "How come you're still here?" he wonders.

"I'm waiting for my brother." you said as he took a seat next to you.

"Go home, I'm fine." you said as you pushed him away.

"Who said I'm here because of you?" he joked, making you roll your eyes.

"Kidding, I'll go when your brother gets here." he said, and you just nodded.

You notice him adjusting his glasses as it slide down to his pointed nose. yea he's handsome, you think, but Shinichiro is more so.

You were staring at him when you noticed a heavy breath.

"I'm sorry, Y/n." he say, your eyes widening as you observe him catching his breath. He's dressed in a pearl white shirt, light wash jeans, and slip-on shoes. Shinichiro.

"I'm here to get you, your brother needs to do something, have you been waiting so long?" he asks but you didn't respond and you turn to your classmate.

"He's here, you can go home now," you told your classmate. "By the way, thank you." you added.

"But he isn't your brother?" he asks, and you laugh.

"He's my brother's friend, so it's fine. Take care." you said, giving him a friendly smile. He nodded and walked over to where his bike was parked.
