As he was about to leave when Juhyeon stops him

"Don't go, don't leave me like what that jerk did," She said in her sleep

"Don't worry I won't leave you," He sat down next to her bed, takes her hand and caressed her hand

"I promise."

The Next Morning, Tuesday

Juhyeon wakes up with Jongho holding her hand

"AHHH," She grabs her pillow and hits him

"Oh shoot is just you," She places her hand on her chest

"Why did you hit me? I was trying to get sleep in such an uncomfortable position you know," He massages his head

"Sorry I thought you were someone else," She said

"But why are you in my house?" She asked 

It's not cause you asked me to stay and all haha

"Well uh I brought you home and it suddenly started raining and I didn't have an umbrella so I just stayed here," He awkwardly said 

"You could've given me a message that you borrowed my umbrella, I wouldn't mind," She said as she got up from her bed

"You should go home, you have work today don't you?" She asked

"Yeah I do", "well you should leave now, we don't want our barista to get fired now do we?" She laughs

"Um I'll see you tomorrow for our Wednesday project," He said as he puts on his shoes

"Yup!" She waves goodbye to him

At the Fleurs Café

"Welcome to Fleurs Café what can I get you today?" Jongho said

"Is Chaerin here?" The stranger asked

"Yes, but why are you asking?" He said

"I'm her boyfriend," He answered

"Oh alright wait let me call her," Jongho said

"Chaerin! Someone's here for you." 

She comes out of the staff room. "Who is it Jong- oh Hojung!" She runs to hug him

Jongho was awkwardly standing at the counter, watching the couple 

"Oh yeah sorry Jongho this is Hojung my boyfriend and Hojung this is my intern Jongho," She said

"Hello," they both bowed at each other 

 As the two were being all couple-ly, someone comes into the café

"Welcome to Fleurs Café what can I get you today?" Another barista said

"Can I get the Caramel Frappuccino, size grande, ice-blended?" She said

"Alright Caramel Frappuccino, size grande, ice-blended am I right?" The barista said

She nods

"Ok, can I get your name?" "Juhyeon," He writes her name on the cup

"Alright you can take a seat and I'll call you once your order is ready," He passes her the receipt and she turns around trying to find a seat

"What's the did person order?" Jongho asked his colleague, San

"She ordered a Caramel Frappe," San said, getting her order ready

Just as Juhyeon turns around she sees her ex and his girlfriend seating across each other with Hojung's hand caressing her cheeks.

It makes her want to 🤢 tbh

She then tries to ignore them by looking for a seat

"Juhyeon," San said her name

With her name being called out Hojung and Jongho looks around

"Yah you didn't tell me this girl ordered a drink," Jongho said 

"Why should I tell you? Is just a customer," San said

"Is not just a customer she's my friend."

Juhyeon makes way to the counter to get her drink

"Here's your-", "Here," Jongho takes the drink from San and passes it to Juhyeon

"Yah Choi Jongho," San said

"Shush, not in front of the customer," Jongho shushed him

"Thanks," she said and walks to her table with Jongho walking behind her

"You should've told me you were-"

"Choi Jongho you're not supposed to seat around," Chaerin said 

Juhyeon turns to look at the person saying that as her mouth fell agape

"Pfft says you," Jongho mumbles

"How about you go to your counter and as you wait for orders to come I'll talk to you while you wait," Juhyeon said

He nods

"So that's your boss?" She asked

"Yeah, she's with her stupid boyfriend."

"I know right? That boyfriend is my ex," She said as they both look at the couple

"Really?!" She nods "Woah what a small world huh?" He said

"Indeed."

"Never knew she liked those types of men," He said

"How long have you guys been dating?" He asked

"3 years," She said as she drank every single drop from her drink

"You're not getting a brain freeze?"

"My heart is as cold as Antarctica, I'm sure I can handle this," She said

"But it still hurts seeing someone who you thought would spend your last breath with, being with someone else."

Jongho barely even spoke a word

She chuckled sadly "sad isn't it?"

"I'm gonna go now, we are still doing our Wednesday project tomorrow right?"

He nods

"Ok see tomorrow!"

As she walked out of the door, Jongho thought about the things they did

✨Flashback✨

"Here put this on your finger," Hojung said

It was a bendable wire

She furrowed "hurry up," He pushes the wire to her

"Okay okay chill," She laughs

She wraps the wire on her index finger so that it could fit perfectly on her finger

"Here happy now?" She shows him her finger

"Mhm yes I am," He removes the wire from her finger

"Don't eat too much ok? Or else it won't fit," They both laugh

"I'll try but that's not a promise," She smiles at him
