Odd one out

Friends and enemies

We had just finished supper and I was up in my room unpacking. My room was fairly big and purple. On each side was a bed, a wardrobe, a bedside table and a desk. Lucy's side was super organized and covered in posters and pictures of her family. My side I decided to put up some 5sos, one direction and R5 posters along with some white Christmas lights around my bed. I filled my wardrobe with my casual clothes. I put all my books, CDs and movies under my table. Just as I finished unpacking the door slammed open. Lucy stormed in glaring at me.
" did you touch my stuff!?" She yelled at me
" no off course not!" I said raising my hands in surrender.
"Then where is my purple shirt!?" She steamed at me
" I swear I don't know!" She pushed me down on the flour well screaming at me things I couldn't understand. She was just about to kick me when I heard the door open and thankfully saw josh there
" oh my god Lucy!!! Back off! She just got here!" Josh screamed. Lucy just rolled her eyes and stormed off.
"Hey are you ok?" Josh asked me
"Ya, thanks" I smiled well he helped me up.
" let's go downstairs to the living room, everyone is hanging out down there." I nodded.
" you know we won't kill you if you talk." I just giggle and he laughs. We walk into the living room to see Faith, Ashley, Alex, Mitch, and Ryder all sitting in the living room. Josh goes to sit beside Faith and I take the only seat left, beside Ryder.
"Hey twinkle toes, fancy seeing you here." He whispers in my ear. I try to stop my blush but I can't help it.
" Awh is twinkle toes blushing over little old me" he teases adding that cute wink at the end
" you wish" I replie teasing him back. We both laugh and go back to the conversation with the group. Just then Lucy struts in and practically throws herself on to of Ryder, hitting me in the face in the meantime. Ryder's first reaction was to push her off causing her to fall on her ass and make a pouty face . Everyone laughs.
" so do you guys wanna play the question game?" Asks Ashley. We all agree and sit in a circle, me till sitting beside Ryder. The questions started normal like favourite colours, food and lots others. It then turned a bit more odd, especially when Alex and Mitch asked them.
"Rosie what is you're pet polar bears name ?" Ashley asked. After almost dying of laughter me and faith spent the next 30 minutes explaining how in Canada we don't have pet polar bears, live in igloos or have snow all year round. Now it was my turn
"Umm.. Elie what's your favourite part of this school?" I ask.
"Weekends." She replies laughing. After s couple more questions its Ryder's turn, he turns and smirks at me.
"So any boyfriends back in Canada?" He asks nudging closer to me.
"No" I blushed trying to cover it up with my hair.
"Really? Well we should change that sometime twinkle toes." He winks at me and I feel a sinking feeling in my stomach. I can't help noticing how adorable he is. My thoughts get interrupted me Lucy's voice talking to me.
"So Rosie my question is why did you're parents send you away do they hate you that much?" She snickered I just ran upstairs to the bathroom and locked the door crying I could hear Elie and josh yelling at Lucy and footsteps thumping up the stairs. "Hey twinkle toes are you ok?" Ryder spoke through the door. I wiped my tears and opened the door. I was automatically pulled into a tight hug by Ryder. I couldn't help but notice his muscular chest and beautiful smell.
" hey I am sure what Lucy said isn't true so don't let it upset you!" He whispered in my ear not letting go of the hug. I slightly loosens the hug to look in his eyes.
"But that's the thing Ryder, it is true!" He just pulled me in for a tighter hug.
