Suna's POV

I woke up to Y/n next to me, turned away.

I bit my lip a little and admired her.

I missed this feeling, a lot.

Something felt off though. Like she wasn't supposed to be here. To be fair, she kind of wasn't because she did get swapped but that's not the point.

"Y/n" I whispered.

She slowly woke up and turned to me. "Hm?.."

"I'm going to head over to Osamu's shop, alright? I'll be back soon"

She nodded and turned back to sleep.

I got up to get ready and freshen up then left.

I wasn't actually going to Osamu's shop though, I was going to see Hinata.

"Hey, Suna" Hinata greeted, getting up from leaning on a lamp post. "You said you wanted to meet me? It's a little early, huh?"

I nodded. "Yeah, cold too."

"How's Y/n? I went to see her at her mom's house but her mom didn't even know she was back."

"About that.. she's staying at my place"

"So that's what you meant when you said she was coming over for a while" he sighed. "Will I be able to visit? She hasn't answered her phone"

I shook my head. "No."

Hinata gave me a confused look. He laughed a little, probably thought I was joking, but quieted when he saw my serious look.

"Why not?"

"She's not the same Y/n."

"What happened on that trip back to your hometown?"

"Don't tell her I told you this, but she got all her past memories back. Just like that, she fainted and when she woke up they were there."

"That's good.. I guess" he said. "So why can't I see her?"

"Because she lost all the current Y/n's memories"

Hinata's expression immediately dropped. His usually happy smile turned into anger. His eyes stared right at me and I had to look away from him.

It's like something possessed him or whatever.

He then jumped at me, grabbing the collar of my shirt. The few people around turned in concern.

"What do you mean she lost her memories?"

"It's exactly as it sounds, sorry. That's how it is now."

"You can't just drop that on me like that, Suna! She was my best friend for so long! You know how hard it was to see her in a coma? To see her high school days taken away? I didn't get to talk to her directly, together, for almost six years! Six years, Suna! And now you tell me that she lost them all?"
