Crossover Part 1-Chapter 11

It's been a week since the last events, and because of our recovery time, Mon-El and I haven't participated in any missions at the D.E.O. I was trying to rebuild my shop and Mon-El has been helping me with everything. Truth is that we've been fooling around more than we've been working. Some of my old costumers came in and helped me with anything I needed. Kara, Alex and I decided to have a ladies' night tonight. We didn't have another person, so I thought we could ask Vanessa, because I really like her and I think we are going to become good friends. After a while, I called her.

V: Hello Isabelle, how are you?

Me: What are you doing tonight?

V: It depends; my dad and I are making the schedule right now.

Me: Nice, today is going to be your day off and you're coming to National City.

V: Okay, but did something happen?

Me: It is ladies' night and I'd love it if you'd come.

V: Gladly.

Me: I'll text you the time and place. It's going to be late when we're done, so you can stay at my place tonight.

V: Okay, I would really like that.

We hung up, I told Mon-El about my plans for tonight and we decided that we are going to go on a walk tomorrow evening. Also, I informed the girls that Vanessa will join us and my parents that she'll stay over.

When it was time, I got ready, met Alex and headed to Kara's house. Vanessa was already there.

A: Are you ready to eat our dust? Danvers sisters for the win!

V: What do you mean?

K: Sorry, my sister is a little too competitive. What she was trying to say is, are you ready for the board games?

V: What games? Aren't we going to hit the town?

Me: I may have forgotten to clarify, but this is what I meant with ladies' night. Trust me; you're going to have a good time.

V: How? By playing board games?

Me: Don't underestimate it at all. Especially this time; because we're going to win.

A: The only rule that applies to every game is that no powers can be used.
