So Close but so far Away

Did I screw up?

3 weeks had passed. During those 3 weeks there has been no communication between luke and I.

I have sent nothing but 1 phone call at 3A.M. two days after he came over because I couldn't stop thinking about him, but he never answers and I never got a call back and I don't want to seem too pushy and ruin things even more then I already have, so I'm waiting for him to make the next move.

I don't know if I can wait any longer though. My mind can't stop thinking about him. I have got no sleep except for tiny naps at 3PM and I need to hear his voice again. So I called again today.

"Hello?"

"HEY ITS ASHTON! Are you Luke's new girly friend he can't stop thinking about?! Aye Calum, what's her name again?"

Ashton shouted to Calum.

"I think it was Leah? Yeah leah but he called her Lee."

Calum answered.

"SOOO is this Leah? Or lee as Luke called you?"

"Ashton whut are you doing!"

Luke said as he took the phone away from Ashton and started talking to me.

"Hey lee, how've you been?"

"Hey. I've tried to get ahold of you but I got no answer? My mind can't stop thinking of you and because of that I have had no sleep for the past 2weeks. what's up!"

"OOOO! LUKES IN TROUBLE WITH HIS GIRLFRIEND!"
I over herd Ash say.

"Look, lee,"
He started to go in another room privately and closed the door.

"I just don't want to say the wrong thing. I didn't know where to start, I didn't know where to end. And I don't know but we can't act like this never happened so if you can come over to my place? Now? Or anytime that's good with you. I don't want to figure this out over a phone call or a text, so please come over, or I'll go there. just please I don't want us to end."

"Okay. I'll go Ives there in a little bit."

"Thanks."
Luke settled down.

After a while I got a taxi to Luke's place. I was so nervous. Not just about talking over this and fixing everything, but also because I'm meeting the guys and I'm not really good around guys.

So I finally got to the guys house. So I mocked on the door.

"Hello!!!!"
Ashton answers the door.

"Hey I'm leah Olivia can I come in and talk to Luke please?"

"Leah you can come in, but Luke's in the shower.

"Thank you."
I walked in and started looking around but then ashton started talking to me.

"So do you like Luke?"
He said to me.

"What?"

"I mean, yeah. You like him?"

"Umm. I don't really know."

"Well just know that he likes you. A lot. and guys don't like to admire that type of stuff, that's why he didn't and that's also why he didn't call because he didn't want to show it to you."

"Oh. Well okay."
There was about 2 minutes of an awkward silence. then I spoke.

"Yes."

"Yes what?"

"Yes I do like him."

"Really?"

"Yeah but I'm just scared. Like what if he doesn't fell the same way. I have a lot of feelings for him and its not just because he's the lead singer of the awesome band 5 Seconds of Summer. can I tell you something Ashton?"

"Sure, tell me anything."

"I think I might love him."
