So Close but so far Away

Arrival

"Attention. We are landing right now."
The loudspeaker said.

When the plane landed it was going really fast and bumpy.

I as still holding his hand and at this point I was going to throw up for sure seeing how fast we were going and the bumps and seeing us come down.

"Hold on."

I turn away and opened up the bag and into the bag my face went.

He rubbed my back as I was throwing up into the bag and he just kept saying

"It's okay it's okay."

I got up and close my eyes again.

"Let's go. the plane landed."

Luke whispered.

"K. "

Luke helped me up and placed my bags in my hand.

"Got it lee?"

"Yeah."

I said as I looked at the ground walking out of the plane with Luke by my side.

"You need me to take that?"

"Umm... no, I'm good thank you Luke."

"Okay."

"Well actually you can take this it's hurting my shoulder."

"Okay."

He took the bag off my shoulder and placed it on his.

"It's not that heavy."

"Well maybe I'm just week ."

"Well maybe you are."

We laughed.

We sat down out side waiting for our taxies to arrive.

I got really tired because of the 6 hour time difference. I accidentally fell asleep.

"Hey lee, that's my taxi. I gotta go."

"Hmm... ahi?"

"Lee? Leah? Oh great."

"Hey kid. are you coming I'm going to leave with out you!"

The taxi man said to me.

"Yeah yeah give me a sec please."

Luke carried me into the taxi with him.

"Hey kid where am I taking you?"

He said not very politely.

"Go to this address."

I handed him the paper with the address on it, and he started to drive.

Once we got there I gave him the money and tipped him.

I carried leah up in and into the house.

"Leah? leah?"

No answer.

"Lee?"

I laid her on my aunts couch peacefully.

"Hey Luke! Have ya been!"

"Oh hi auntie June. I'm good but I met someone on my flight home, and she's really sweet and all but she fell asleep at the air port."

"Okay that's nice."

"Yeah well, she's on your couch now."

"Oh. what's her name."

"Leah. leah Olivia."
