"Good evening, Mrs. Fushiguro." You greeted her in the most formal matter you could think of. She looked elegant as always, although she looked tired. She smiled, but didn't pay much attention to you. She looked for her daughter, who stood right besides you. Her daughter hugged her, and began talking. She was so excited.
"Where's Megumi?" Mr. Fushiguro asked, as he came to your side.
"He got tired, and decided to go to bed." You answered. You knew it was going to happen. It was odd how he decided to stay up to greet Mrs. Fushiguro, but you allowed it. The smart boy stayed up till around ten minutes before they got home, and then he suddenly got so tired that he doubted he could keep an eye open for another minute. He acted it out too, even though it was awful and a clear lie. You just let him go.
"That's surprising." Mr. Fushiguro told you and you agreed. Never in your time working there had you heard Megumi claim that he was tired. Well, only in the morning when he didn't want to get up from bed. "You sure he wasn't lying?"
"He was really tired. You can even ask Tsumiki." You covered for Megumi. Mr. Fushiguro could read right through you, but he didn't say anything. He just nodded and paid attention to his wife and her daughter.
"Y/N, please go get some rest. I got her." Mrs. Fushiguro spoke and you nodded. Tsumiki walked towards you and hugged you.
"Good night, Y/N." She told you.
"Good night, Tsumiki." You responded. She pulled away and went back to her mom, who was staring that whole time. You left without saying a word to anyone, entering your room.
You still needed to shower, and the only thing you wanted to do was sleep. You had to wake up earlier than the children, to make them breakfast as well as their lunch. You were probably so tired since you were going back to the routine after two weeks. Hopefully things would be so much easier tomorrow.
You still had to do that for the rest of the week, whether you liked it or not.

"Do you really have to go?" Little Megumi pouted. You thought that he wouldn't pay much attention to you since his step-mother had promised the kids they would go out to watch a movie then to go to a restaurant; you would be sure that it would've been enough for Megumi to not pay any attention to you, but you were proved wrong.
"I'll see you again Sunday night. Not even two full days, and I'll be back." You assured him. That did nothing as he continued pouting.
"Take me with you." He said.
"Gumi that's not possible-" You began, but he paid no attention. He went up to his father, who was right by the door. Mr. Fushiguro had the responsibility to take you home, or at least he insisted on taking you home so you wouldn't have to spend money on a ride. He didn't know why his wife wouldn't just let you take one of her cars.
"Dad, can I go with Y/N?" He asked the man. Mr. Fushiguro looked down at his son, completely confused.
"Go with Y/N? To her house? To stay for the weekend?" Mr. Fushiguro questioned his son, who nodded each time. Mr. Fushiguro hoped that asking those questions would knock some sense into the boy, but nothing. "Don't you want to stay with me?"
When Megumi shook his head, it was fair to say Mr. Fushiguro's heart broke a little. He clicked his tongue and crossed his arms before giving Megumi his response. "No. Y/N needs a break from you kids after spending so much time with you two. She's not your mother."
It was a subtle reminder, and the moment the words left his lips he regretted it. He said that because he was hurt. You looked at little Megumi, hoping that he wouldn't be hurt, but it was surprising to find him neutral. It wasn't the first time he had heard those words, first time from his father though.
