I woke in a hospital looking up at the ceiling. ‘Your awake.’ Drake said, grabbing my hand.                        

‘How long have I been out?’ ‘Three weeks.’ Was Drakes tired answer. He said, stroking my head. I heard a faint cry. Drake got up and picked Daniel out of a portable crib. He gave my son to me and said: ‘We stayed in the hospital. I thought it was better that he would keep remembering you.’ I nodded and hugged him. Drake looked at me and a tear dropped out of the corner of his eye. ‘I thought I lost you.’

I stroked him and leaned in. We kissed and he sat down on my bed. ‘Isn’t it to early for that?’ A doctor asked from the entrance. Drake and I giggled. ‘Well young lady. Whatever poisoned your body, its gone. We didn’t even have to give you medicine. If you don’t have a relapse tonight, you can go home tomorrow.

‘Drake, I really think B..’ I started not knowing how to make my suspicions clear. Drake rubbed my hand. ‘You really think what?’ I sat up straight and grabbed his hand. ‘So I collapsed three weeks ago. The doctor said they didn’t give me medicine. Now what changed since I was taken into the hospital.’ Drake smiled and pulled me in his arms. He knew very well where I was going ‘Now vampires are simply poisonous to be around?’ he asked. I sighted. I knew he wouldn’t believe me. ‘Look, you didn’t have piercing holes in you neck or anywhere else, Birdie didn’t bite you.’ He said. leaned against me and said: ‘but if you really want to we’ll sent her away.’ I felt guilty and looked down at my hands ‘No, she can stay.’ I said       

The next day.

I got my stuff and walked over to Drake who was carrying Daniel. He kissed me as I walked by him and opened the car door for me. He buckled Daniel in his car seat and got behind the wheel. We drove home and I sighted. ‘I gave Birdie a day off and Danny and Shilow offered to take Daniel for the night’. He said as he got out of the car and walked over to the house next door. ‘They bought the house next to ours, because Danny is pregnant.’  He knocked and Danny opened the door. I took Daniel out off his seat and carried him to her. We said our goodbye’s and went home. I went upstairs to find Drake hadn’t changed anything about the furniture accept for our room. He even had the painting of my parents restored. In our dressing room hung a picture of Daniel sr. I changed and stepped under the shower. Drake joined me.

Later

‘Crap, we forgot protection again.’ I said leaning against Drakes bare chest. Satisfied we were resting on the bed. He chuckled and rubbed my shoulders. His hand traveled down my back and he said: ‘Well, we can as well take advantage of it.’ He said as he bended forward and kissed my shoulder. His hands roamed my hips and his lips caressed my shoulders. I moaned when his kisses turned into hungrily sucking my skin. ‘Stop it, you’ll make a hickey.’ I whispered, though I didn’t want him to stop. He obviously knew that as his hands moved forward over my belly to my breasts. He pinched them softly and smiled when I moaned again. He pressed himself against my back and moved his head over to my other shoulder to kiss my mark.

Suddenly I had enough of it and spun around. He reacted by pushing me back until I was with my back on the bed. He leaned over me and kissed my breast. His hands went down and pushed my thighs apart. ‘I love you.’ He said, looking me in my eyes. He pushed himself inside me and moaned. ‘I love you too’ I said.

The rest of the day we made love.

But when I when to the kitchen to make some dinner I found something g. When I took a frying pan out of one of the closets a secret cabin fell open. There was a book inside, most likely a diary. I opened it and read the last page.  They will be mine!!!!!! It said.
