Tori flew in back to Haddonfield, Illinois despite the fact she dreaded it. She did not want to be reminded of that Halloween in her freshman year in college. She was a model finally making a difference in the world. But she owed it to Brinley and Selena because they had gone through it together and had to heal together.

Brinley and Selena greeted Tori at the airport and they drove to Selena's house to talk about how they were handling the holiday this year.

"I can't believe that was six years ago." Tori said.

"It feels like yesterday." Selena agreed with a frown.

"It always feels like this every single year. Halloween is beyond overrated." Brinley agreed with them as she drank a sip of tea.

"Does it ever get easier?" Selena asked with a deep loud sigh.

"It my studies it said so but even as a therapist this is so much different." Brinley responded.

"We should get over it, right?" Tori asked.

"You don't get over anything. A traumatic experience like this follows you but it's how you deal with it and move forward is what really counts." Brinley answered.

"When did you get to be so wise?" Selena asked with a soft chuckle.

"I'm not wise," Brinley answered with a giggle. "I'm just a survivor."

"So us feeling bad for ourselves is not helping?" Tori asked laughing uncomfortably.

"That is correct." Brinley answered taking another sip of tea.

"I'm just scared that he will escape again and it will be worse than last time." Selena confessed frowning at her friends.

"Well if he does I'm ready. That's why I haven't moved from Haddonfield yet." Brinley replied.

"I moved just to get away with it." Tori said.

"I stayed because I don't want to run s scared like a coward. I can't live my life afraid." Selena replied.

"Well this has been an interesting group therapy session." Brinley joked trying to lighten up the mood.
