Just. Just two different people. How bad can it be?

When it had started raining they decided to go to the picnic tables that has a shelter over it. Neither of them wanted to walk in the rain. Amity didn't want to get in trouble for being wet when she gets home, and Luz just didn't wanna go home.

They had been passing notes, Amity at first was replying to the notes by talking but felt embarrassed since she felt like she was talking to herself. So she just passed notes back to Luz, The brunette thought that was oddly cute.

Amity wrote on a purple sticky note before sliding it to Luz.

When do you have to go home? School is about to end

Luz read it before taking another note and writing on it

It's only 1 so i have some time before i should be home

Amity read through Luz's messy hand writing before grabbing another sticky note, for the next hour they wrote to each other near the end of their conversation Amity decided she would try and make laugh as her goal.

Yeah it was a silly goal but Amity felt comfortable having a childish goal, she usually would never think about having one but she felt like a different person around Luz. Well, not a different person she always felt like a different person but now she feels like herself.

Isn't that sad.

Isn't that. Pitiful?

Pitiful how, She, Amity Blight got to show herself so, so quickly to someone who's quite literally never said a word to her?

What was it? What was it about the tan girl that helped Amity show herself. Was it the calm demeanor, or was it her quietness that made her seem appealing.

Amity didn't know. She honestly didn't even care she just knew she liked Luz and wanted to be her friend. Until reality hit. What the hell was she doing? Passing notes to a girl, when she could be studying or actually being at school.

Standing up abruptly she startles Luz who had being writing a note back to Amity. "I-I have to go." Amity mumbled being guilty for leaving Luz so soon but also knowing she could waste another minute. Luz stood up and handed Amity the note.

Taking the note she saw a number she assumed it was Luz's "Oh thanks, uh see ya later" she said before quickly leaving the girl under the shelter by herself. On the way to her home Amity had a blush powdered on her face. She didn't know why, its not like she hadn't been given a number before but this felt weirdly different.

Home not so sweet home. Amity stood in front of the Blight manor, she felt nervous and kind of... scared.

Buzzing the gate she waited a moment before they started to open. At first Amity didn't want to move but reluctantly did anyways walking up the not so big hill felt like she was walking for hours.

Reaching the door it was opened buy a tall male, his hair was slicked back and grey-ing, he looked almost fragile. "thank you, Wilson" Amity said to the butler taking off her coat and giving it to him. "Of course miss. Blight, my pleasure" and said in a deep tone.

Not wasting anymore time Amity ran upstairs, trying to be as quiet as possible but wanting to get to her room quickly. Almost like her safe haven, it's nice to have a door with a lock her parents don't have a key to the room.

Shutting her door behind her quietly Amity let out a shakey breath after locking the dark painted door. She took out her phone and laid on her bed shut her eyes for a bit before looking at her phone seeing a few messages from Boscha, Skara, and some other people.

Amity verbally sighed opening the messages and starting to reply to some of them she heard footsteps coming down the hall, she quickly threw her phone under the bed and stopped moving trying to hear who it was.
