" See you tomorrow "

This was the last thing Minghao heard from Jun, as they parted ways on that sunny Friday afternoon. That was also the last thing his best friend had said to him. Processing just the thought was already something the Chinese boy couldn't take well.

It was my fault...

He remembered that beautiful smile, and the little wave he made his way before disappearing behind the house that was on the corner of the street he lived. The younger had to go the opposite way though, regretting it all later. He thought he should've went with him, he should've walked him all the way to home.

As if it would've changed anything....

Minghao was really trying to keep it up after all this. He did. All of his friends tried helping him, even if they were hurting too, but they also wanted to be there for him, since he was the one who had it the worst among them. But they couldn't do it anymore. The boy shut them all out with the key of his bedroom door. He refused to go out again and he was more than determined to keep it that way.

He should've payed more attention, he should've talked to him more, he should've kept him in his arms that night, he should've protected him more, he should've been more careful, he should've been there, he should've seen, he should've...

He wishes he could go back in time and change all those events, he wishes he could've done something earlier.

Why couldn't he just be better?

All he wished for is just Jun to come back, his Jun to come back. He only wanted that to happen, but it is always those things we can't get what we want, right?

He pulled the blanket over his head even more, dark surrounding him and his whole room. He wished that at least the stuffy air he was having a hard time breathing in and out could suffocate him already. The thoughts in his head were making his head hurt, his lips were quivering and the tears in his eyes were spilling nonstop all day, making them red. He took shaky breaths and tried to block his running mind from making more damage than it already did. There was one and only thought that was still clearly lingering in his thought.

I miss you so much, Jun...
